Hello all......So I just started vaping about 10 days ago I bought the aspire kit that comes with the triton tank and pegasus mod. I also got a few flavors with it. The first flavor I used was "the milk" by teleos which was great then "churrios" by milkman which I also found to be good I went out and bought some flavors from a local shop and ordered more online since than about half of all the flavors I have tried have the same exact almost burnt/spoiled taste idk if I'm doing something wrong or maybe it's the nicotine or some other common ingredient that might do that. I use a different cool for each new flavor and I did everything I was supposed I even put the flavors I liked over the same coil after emptying out the previous flavors to see if I burnt the wick or something but they tasted fine. I feel like I would really like some of these flavors if they didn't have the weird taste any help or ideas would be appreciated thanks.

What wattage are you vaping at. Each flavor is different on what wattage they taste best at. I have found tobacco flavors are better on a higher wattage than fruits. This mod is not a plug and play. You start out on a low wattage with each new juice and work your way up to your sweet spot. Once you burn a coil it's pretty much wasted.

After I get my Atty (coil and chamber heat up) going for awhile, I will often times turn the mod down a watt or so to see if I can taste more flavor. I'm often surprised at how much better the vape is by lowering the vape temp/wattage.

Looks like milkman churrios is a max VG blend so its something like 80% VG 20% PG more or less. The milk by teleos is also high VG 70/30% And its possible that the juices you got from the shop are lower on VG so if you got like 50/50 blend or even 60/40%. Viscosity changes a lot since PG is a thinner substance so thinner juice vaped at same wattage as max vg for instance can burn faster. Because its thinner it liquefies faster when heated so boils quicker.
So to make long story longer what vg levels your other vape shop juice has?
Also in my humble opinion some juice, even though, flavor sounds like it should appeal to your senses.It may just be crap lol because they might use flavorings that are sub par. Its like comparing pizza for example, all cheese pizza should be the same because its just three ingredients dough, sauce , cheese but quality of them is different. So its not. Plus technique, how they mixed what seasonings make the sauce etc. This shouldn't effect your specific device though. Sh*t is still sh*t no matter where you put it.

I agree. I have some flavors that others find spectacular and I find them to be "eh" at best and disgusting at worst.
I've found, for me, buying "blind" from the internet based on description doesn't work. I have about 30 flavors from various vendors that don't work for me. Now I only but if I can try first at my local shop.
Also, some juice needs to steep before it reaches maximum flavor. Try putting aside the ones you don't love for a few weeks (store in a cool, dark place) and try them again.
I find milk, cream, custard, cereal juices gross myself. Need to vape a tank or more to get used to the odd flavour so I can't taste it anymore and the good flavours start to stand out. If your a chain vaper the VG may be to high as well. 80VG is high for most devices and the triton mini is quite small, you could try closing the air flow a little to help pull the juice in.

There is nothing wrong with you, although the e-liquids may of course not be top flight OR the e-liquids may not taste right to you for a couple months.
It could be a little bit dependent on how much nicotine you are using, but if you are at around 18mg/ml and below I think you will be fine. Typically the amount of "carrier" as in pg/vg is what is diminished when mixing e-liquids, not flavors.
If a recipe calls for 10% flavor, then that is placed in first. Then the nicotine. Finally the pg/vg base to bring it up to 30ml/60ml...etc.
I started vaping Sept, 1, 2015. It was not long after that that I went out and bought around $1,000+ in e-liquids, b/c I wanted to find the best 10 to 20 flavors that I could so that I flavors that I could enjoy. I still have some of those e-liquids. They are better tasting to me now than they have ever been.
Your ability to taste is going to grow, it will come back, but it may take 3 to 6 months. Then it is going to hit you that you can finally taste things again.
