Right so for the first time in my vape career ;) (started using regs again funnily enough) I actually had a check atty warning. So I tried it on another mod. Same thing. Open the topper (Heron) and check the build. One of the legs has snapped!

The sigelei 150 has been acting funny all day. It's off even though I never remembered turning it off, now I think it's going wrong. I put the batteries back in and they're showing as 100%.
Been using it mtl all day so I check the batteries on the dmm. Theyre 4.08 and 4.09 but the sig is reading as full.

I don't know if it's just coincidence or the mod has something to do with the atty legs.

Should I use this mod any more or chuck it?

Oh, having a poltergeist mess with your vape gear is serious stuff.

I wouldn't be tossing that sig out just yet. Just because the battery indicator is inaccurate doesn't make it a loss. Just something you'll have to keep a closer eye on to know when to recharge. The busted leg, those things just happen. Hard to see any connection between that and the battery state.

Hmmm. I'll let you know how events progress then.

Your chip could be going bad with different readings and spontaneous shutoff. That is my guess. I would rather be on the safe side and invest in another mod. You can't count on the old one. It's starting to do things by itself. This behavior has happened to me when my chipset has started to fail. I wouldn't be trusting it at this point. You can get a good mod from pioneer4u fairly cheap. I'm using their ipv8 right now and really like it. They have a very accurate chipset. It has temp control options too if that's what you like. High wattage is 230. Solid build much like the Alien mod. Super comfortable rounded corners and can be charged with a cord if you want. It takes two 18650 batteries. I'm thinking you can grab one for under 60 dollars. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I have a lot of reg'ed mods. None of them have proven to be very accurate when it comes to battery readings. When I use the on-board charging on my Sigelei 213 +, it thinks 4.15 volts is a full charge. The indicator bar doesn't even start going down until the batteries are around 4.0. Mine is showing 4.08 and a full bar right now. I wouldn't be too concerned about that aspect.

Check Atomizer warning...sure, broken coil, makes sense.

I'd be most leery of the mysterious shutting down. I've never had a 150, but the 213s can't actually be turned off, only locked. I've never had one of mine (Sigeleis) shut down or lock up unexpectedly.

My P.O.S Laisimo L1 does all kinds of weird things. It locks up with "High Battery" warnings frequently (the batteries are fine). When it does that, I have to power it off, then on again. After that, it reads "Atomizer Short" until I take a hit and everything returns to normal. It also likes to randomly determine how many clicks it will need to power up. Sometimes it's 3, sometimes 4, and rarely it's the 5 clicks it's supposed to be to turn it on. Also, its voltage meter has been non-functional since day 1 (perpetually reads 0.00). I only know the batteries are low when it starts hitting weak, like a mech. The battery bar is still half full when that happens. It is as I said a glitchy POS, but I still use it at home. I'm not worried about it blowing up on me or anything. I would never take it anywhere I didn't have a backup within arms reach. My Sig 213s are my traveling mods, because they've been so reliable for me.

Rebuild your atty and go from there. If it's still glitching, pull it from active service and use it as a reserve.

Battery indicators and even ohm meters in regulated mods are innacurate from day one.

A quality accurate ohm meter costs more than most mods.

I don't believe a snapped leg would cause the issues in the mod.
Sounds like the chip.

Without sounding like a choad, this is why I prefer mechs.
