I have been spending much more time tied to my computer than I normally am this time of year so I decided to buy a passthrough.

So I bought a 5volt 510 manual passthrough form madvapes.

I realize it's not a true 5volts but it still seemed a great way to go. Actually I bought two, one for me and one for a friend. I liked the idea of no battery as well. I don't think I ever understood why you would put that in, in the first place (just to cut it down to 3.7??). I don't like the idea of having one more cord hanging off my computer but I can always get a wall usb unit.

The price of the two passthroughs was $31.49 cents delivered (5% off with strell coupon). I ordered last night and it's already in shipping.

I realized how much less time I was getting out of my batteries and I would like the ones I have to at least last untill my megalodon (mako) shows up in a couple months. (the one I won a few days ago, thanks guys).

Well has anyone tried these passthoughs and how has it gone? Oh and I think they have about 100 more in stock for anyone interested. This is my first order with them but they sure seem on top of things. I came real close to adding the $10 disposable 510 with the bigger batt.

I have one - it has a nice thicker cable that hopefully means it wont go the way of my LAST 5v PT which was me rolling my chair over it and finally killing it. Ive had mine now for 3 weeks (maybe a bit less) and it works very well indeed - its pretty much attached to my face as soon as I sit down at the PC lol. I don't think you're gonna regret your purchase :) I havent regretted mine, (I got a USB/Ac adapter plug off him as well as my old one had started sparking) and if I *do* end up crushing it to death under my chair wheels (I killed my 3.7v one as well the same way lol) replacing it won't break the bank.

Kool beans, I really didn't want another cord, but it just didn't make sense to keep killing my batteries.

I use one (it's the one from V4L) and I LOVE it! I might as well marry it since we spend so much time together. :p

I use an AC to USB adapter (the powerline from wally world) since people were talking about messin up their computers with them. I have a new computer and never had problems... just got paranoid because I do ALL of my research and my gaming on this pc.

Anyway, if you get a car adapter with a usb port on it you can also use it in the car, it's like heaven for me.

I don't care for my passthrough at all. Never use it anymore.

Who needs a wire hanging off the e-cigarette when the charger is 20 feet from the computer and has a fresh battery which only needs to be changed twice a day ?

Just my opinion.

Like I said I am not a fan of having the cord but I noticed I was killing my batteries and the 5 volt doesn't have a battery to kill. Plus although it's not exactly 5v it's pretty close and I wanted to try 5v.

Passthrough is what made me decide to go with a HV mod. I wanted to try a cheap way to try high voltage and led me to buy an xhaler. Haven't used my passthrough or screwdriver since I got it.

Ditto.

I got two 801 PTs here collecting dust, and a dead 808 that got fried somehow when I was checking the voltage with my multimeter
