Good evening folks.

Many thanks to those of you that gave me a very warm welcome. I sincerely appreciate it.

After some more reading last night, and again this afternoon.. I bit the bullet and dropped down some $$.

I ordered the KGO kit , and a few extra items that seemed compatable, as well as some juices.

I am pretty pumped to get to some vaping and drop these damn analog smokes.

I went with the 60/40 mix on the juices I selected, as this seemed to be what was in stock. I selected 24mg and 36mg, figuring I could always vape less if it takes less to meet my need, But I felt it would be better then attempting to make a "light" Vitamin N dose work.
I ordered some 10ml bottles of flavors that sounded familar to me..
I avoided "tobacco" type flavors, figuring I might as well expand my horizons .. LOL..

I am not sure how long this juice order will last (about 40ml + whatever comes with the kit) , But If I see I am starting to burn through it quick.. I can always order more.

I wonder if anyone here as considered doing something similar to what we do on a PIPE forum I belong to, I will continue to read and look here but it is somethin g like this :

We do something called a "Newbie Sampler Trade" ... Where a Experienced Pipe Smoker (EPS) like myself, requests a well known tin of a popular / easy to come by tobacco. Upon receipt of it from a New Pipe Smoker (NPS), The EPS sends a "bomb" of samples containing different types ( ribbon, flake, cakes, cubes.. etc) and different strengths to the NPS.. He or she then gets to try a large variety of tobaccos without having to buy a whole tin of each..
It's actually very cool and builds quite a bit of comradery between members.

I also see that this can become akin to a cigar/ pipe / pipe tobacco aquisition slippery slope with all the styles, flavors and gadgets.
Oh well, at least this slide will hopefully and ultimately result with a beneficial change , and the loss of an old hard to break habit.

As I wait for the USPS to do its thing. I will continue to read and investigate all the information you folks post here.

Peace and God Bless..

- Vin

I thought I would only like a tobacco flavor when I ordered my first (like many noobs). I couldn't imaging "smoking" fruity flavors. Boy, was I wrong!

That it can. I just ordered my fourth mod.

But, every penny has been worth it. I quit smoking 3 days after I got my first kit, and I can't imagine going back to analogs now.

Good luck! :vapor:

That's a great kit! I highly reccommend it. 40%vg can be a little tough to fill cartomizers (if that's among the list of extras you ordered) for the first time. The best way is to use a syringe to really get into the filler. You also have to be a little more patient because the thickness of the pg can fool you into thinking it's filled enough when it may not be. Saturation is very important on the first fill. Puff lightly the first time. Congratulations

LOL..

I'm stoked now..

Maybe I'll find myself "stocking up" and "cellaring" a bunch of 5 and 10 ml bottles next to my tins of pipe tobacco..

When you are ready to order more juice, I highly recommend Vermillion River. Welcome to Vermillion River Premium E-Juice their Kentucky blends line really make me think of pipe smoking. they are light on the inhale but really leave a great lingering flavor and sweet aroma on the exhale that is complex and contemplating and very much reminds me of my grandfather (and his favorite chair :p)who smoked a pipe. You can get a free sample from them if you pay a couple bucks for shipping and also they offer a six pack sampler of 4.5ml bottles for $20.

I think you'll def be happy with the kGo, it's a nice PV.
Hoosier has some decent juices, but even the 60/40 is pretty thick. It would take a long Time to drip fill bc it's thick. A syringe is hands down the easiest way to fill thicker juices. I also think using a syringe is the easiest and quickest way to fill with any juices. It takes all the guess work out of filling and ensures they are filled correctly.
If you order some cartos from CRystal Clear Vaping, you get a free syringe with all carto purchases and that syringe is perfect for filling. I recommend trying the Ressurector cartos. They are 1.7ohm and hold alittle over 2ml of juice. They are awesome and are disigned for 3.7V PVs like the kGo. They produce huge amounts of vapor and are very consistant. CCV has free shipping too.

For juice Check out BlueMist Vapor. They are a great vendor and have a huge selection, over 250 juices. All juices are made fresh and you can get them in 80/20 PG/VG or 100%VG(I recommend the 80/20). Their prices are super cheap too, $5 for 10ml and $10 for 30ml.
They also offer sample packs which I recommend you get. You can get (5)3ml samples for $10 or (5)10ml samples for $20. I recommend getting the 3ml bottles to start so you can get a few packs and try more. They also offer extra flavor shots for .50cents more and if you find a juice you really like you can get a 180ml bottle for $30, which is an awesome deal and a LOT cheaper than most other vendors.
Also BlueMist is in York, PA so you'll get your orders very quickly and they ship very fast. I live less than an hr from you and almost Everytime I've ordered they have shipped the same day. I normally get my orders 2 days after I've placed them and have even gotten 2 orders the day after I ordered.
I would def check them out

Goodluck with your new kit

Thanks for this link! I've tried a sample pack of non-tobacco flavors and discovered not for me. I'll definitely check this one out!!
