Well, it's been a month...

...since my 808 came from Health Cabin. Haven't smoked a cig since.

The carts I got from them: Marl 18mg, RY4 24mg, and Watermelon 24mg were...o.k. I know my tastebuds were wacky from smoking but the Marl and RY4 tasted damn near the same. Some weird cloying sweetness to them. Did get a touch of caramel from the RY4 so that was my fave. The Watermelon was horrid. Same generic sweetness with a hint of tempting Watermelon and NO vapor whatsoever. Zip. I tried like hell with those but only got the taste of burned polyfill.

I had ordered 15 blanks as well. Got juice from Viking Vapor and Bomb Drops. I may try to review them in the correct forum.

I'll put in an order from TV tomorrow and have some Nebula Turbo carts on the way. Already looking at getting 901's and trying the Straw mod on 'em.

Yes indeed. Your going through the "I've got to try it all" syndrome. This is a lot of fun after the initial period. RY4 is my all time favorite too. Good luck with your journey and have some fun.

Chingas I passed the month mark Friday myself...Started w/a 510 and played the cart game for a while..Hooked up with a GGTS/901 HV atty/elongated T-Tip and now I drip only. V4L hooked me up with juice today and I must say it is pretty good. So far my favorite juice supplier is still MadVapes..Also scored a Precise but need to get a stock of low resistance attys..It has been quiet the learning experience. The bottom line: I no longer ride with the Marlboro Man. 2+ packs a day to 0 in a month. Without vaping I'd still be at 2+. I'll vape until I'm satisfied the job has been done and quit. I'll keep my gear just in case I relapse..As much as I love that tastee vape it could be a while...My breathing improved the most the first week. My sinuses are somewhat normal now. Haven't burned my hair and smells are starting to reappear..No family members are ragging my .....Pass the juice........

Congrats - let me tell you, the second month is even better than the first.
I've finally gotten to a point where I can honestly say I no longer want an analog... not in the least.
It only gets better.

I know that first month was a bit touch and go for me... so congrats to you for making the switch.

El Dee, I am with you on the lungs getting better. So much clearer. My throat used to make a strange crackle/whistle sound that I heard the most as I was trying to go to sleep. Just realized the other day that I haven't heard that in many days.

Used to get an odd feeling in my chest toward the end of the day as well. Not a pain, just a...I dunno. Presence? That's gone. I think my heart rate is down too.

Why did I smoke again??

My paycheck clears tomorrow and I am hitting that sale at TastyVapor. Oh yeah!

Congrats Chingas i have 3 days, i havent noticed much changes in my healt yet but i hope i do soon what bothers me is tht after 12 years of smokeing i cant sleep facing up, i feel like drowning at night and im only 26 i used to smoke 26 cigs per day, and since i got my e-cigs 3 days ago i havent touched a analog. I hope i start noticing something soon.

Last year I bought a 306, loved the product, but the "juice" I ordered, kept leaving a terrible taste in my mouth.. So I put down the 306 and picked up the cigs again. I was afraid to order any more of the juice because I felt I might not like them and be wasting money..

Last week I told myself I was ready to try it again, and got by on the old juice I had. But started reading forums like mad. I visited tons of sites and finally settled on Halo. Everyone had said while they were a bit more, it was money well spent. All I can say is ~WoW~..

I just ordered two more starter kits from electronicstix, because two of my family members keep stealing my 306. We are all in total agreement that with the Halo Torque, the vape is better then any cigarette could be.

I have zero desire for an analogue - and I have only been vaping the halo a couple days. And I was up to almost three packs a day!

Just for fun the other night I slept on my back...Very relaxing indeed..Turned 50 Feb. 6, smoked since '75. My secret to success: 36mg juice for jonesing, 24 for everyday, 18 or 12 for late nite and a good quality PV. After getting accustomed to the juice the analogs seem very nasty to me. Boys I wish you all the success possible.

I was going to also post about the health aspect, but yeah, I was so excited about how great this has been this time around I forgot.

I have already noticed a big difference in how I feel and breathe. I am one who hates the smell of cig. smoke in the morning, and if I do smell it, it makes me physically ill. Then I would spend a good hour in the morning feeling super congested and be wheezy and coughing. In just a couple days, the wheeze in the morning is gone. And I can get moving faster already.. I cannot wait to see how great I feel in a month, six months, a year.

Ditto on the different nic levels for different occasions. The 36mg was too much for me until I really needed it, then....magic. Too strong for an all-day vape, at least for me.

I've been vaping now for just over a month. Went from 2 packs a day to less than a pack in the last month. Generally, the only time I reach for an analog is when my 510 acts up or I've drained both batts. I'm making my own juice or adding a touch of caramel to the RY4, love the caramel. but my main issue is the carts. I keep flooding my atty and have to mess with it. I've just ordered the zero fill mods to see if that helps. But on the health front, I had to clean EVERYTHING I own to get rid of that nasty smoke smell. I feel great and am on the treadmill without heaving. LOL
Love the ecig and so far have no intentions to go back to the Marlboro Man.
