Well kiss my coil!

I wrapped my bottom lip around a 1 ohm coil about three months ago. I was watching an episode of Colombo in the family room with the lights low. I guess I got so wrapped up in the best TV detective ever that I forgot what I was doing and the next thing I knew I was blistered pretty nice. Heals quick though, & I won't do that again

I loved that crazy Colombo, where did you catch one of those episodes? Off topic I know, but I haven't melted any flesh lately.

Oh my.. More injuries! Recoiled a .5 ohm dual coil today, was tightening the screws a bit (one had loosened after I wicked) while it was on my nemesis... Which I had just shortened the throw on the button... Well while I was tightening, apparently I put enough pressure to activate it. So I got a nice looking coil burn on my thumb! Hahaha! Just gotta laugh!

Well it was bound to happen one day... But the blister on my lip still tells me that I am a ...... Found a few drops left of a favorite juice.. Dripped it into a trusty rda.. And in my haste to partake of the delicious nectar, I omitted a crucial step. That step being putting the top cap back on my dripper..

Next thing I know.. Crack..,sizzle... OWWW! My bottom lip made direct contact with a sub ohm coil (luckily it was just a .8). Even though it was just for a brief moment I was gifted with a nice blister on my lip.

Lesson learned. Don't be hasty! Im sure i'm not the only one..who else had played kiss the coils?

Oh.. Last night after I did it, I started hearing kiss the girl from the little mermaid and was singing you got to kiss the coil....

... Is that weird?

Hah, you clumsy people! I could never be absent minded enough to put a a dual coiled Kraken without a top cap to my lips, giving myself two perfectly symmetrical blisters.

Fun facts: A mesh wick has more flavor than a drip tip. Also, the draw is tighter.

I almost did that 2x last week after reading a post like this one and thinking how can you forget to put your top cap back on...go figure. It must of hurt, I've gotten a blister once from splash back through the drip tip on a super sub-ohm build and it hurt like ....*!!!

Lol at all the responses. It helped me smile this morning after some wicked bad dreams.

No I dont have kids, I am a 35 y/o man who really dislikes the songs in Disney movies. However the gal i'm dating has two kids and they are ofc fans of Disney flicks. All that being said, neither they nor I have watched the little mermaid in a long time. So I suppose I am weird. Im ok with that. Being normal is overrated, and often boring.

Well.. Just to show how my mind works, I was trying to be clever with the title. I'm from the south and the phrase 'well kiss my grits' isn't uncommon... But after I started typing somehow kiss the girl entered my mind. That led to me hearing kiss the girl in my head., and bc im silly it felt good to share. I figure if anyone passed judgement for something so simple, well then I dont need to really worry about their opinion or to try to impress them.
