now i am officially hooked lol i just did my first mods today...purposeful and deliberate lol
had to mod a charger to charge my 510 slim battery. so i took out the burnt atomizer i had and repurposed it as part of the usb charger. wired it up and wrapped electrical tape and i got a charged 510 battery! woohoo! then i got the bug and decided to make a passthrough for my old rn4081 cartomizers. i had a manual 910 passthrough that i had used with an adapter to vape the 4081 cartos but it was really loose and fell apart weeks ago. so i pulled out the guts and unfortunately broke the switch beyond my understanding of how to fix it. but i had a wire with usb and a couple of auto batteries that got all gummed up with juice. the first battery i dissected in a rough manner...but i understood how it was put together after that. so on the second battery i carefully snipped the wires to the LED and then carefully pryed out the center post, pulling the positive wire all the way out intact. then i pulled out the guts of the battery and recentered the post back in and hooked up the wires and electrical taped the positives to each other and then used the rubber cap, that was in the battery, to secure the negative wire to the body of the battery and taped it all down. plugged it in and it showed voltage! then stuck a carto on it and got my vape on! not bad for no soldering iron i would think lol i dont have one...but i am thinking that might be a hint for father's day lol
but i couldnt have done it without yall! everyone's sharing about their experiences helped me as i was doing mine; cant tell you how many times i looked up this or that to make sure i wasnt going to burn the whole house down lol
Thanks again!
