Anyone else done this? I started on the little Blu like e-cigs and then got myself a 510 starter kit... was fiddling with atomizers and carts and flat batteries too much, then I branched out to EGO's and Echo-E carts and now I find myself buying 510 Megas auto and manual and boge cartimizers lol.. I just really miss having a cig like size the Ego's are fantastic and I cant complain at all I just like smaller e-cigs! I did get the mega 510's the manual is 280mah and the auto is 340mah and since my vaping has calmed down I think the smaller cigs will work. Might keep an ego stocked for long car trips in case lol.
Hi Dyanne!
I did the same thing, sorta. I started out with 2 eGo kits with 900 mAh and 1000 mAh batteries. And to be honest, for first timers I don't think they should start with anything less than eGo in any size because of the "less fuss factor" when it comes to battery run time and charging.
In October, for giggles - and I wanted something that lit up in the dark (lol) - I bought a Joye 510 kit with 1 manual and 1 auto battery. I was surprised to find it a relief not holding onto something as heavy as a 900 or 1000 mAh eGo. And I do like fiddling with the smaller size 510, but I didn't feel like I was missing that "cigarette" experience either.
For me it's no more than an occasional diversion because the battery run times are just too short. I can't get one 510 battery to complete a charge before the one I'm using is depleted. (Is that typical?) That was my big 510 disappointment. And another reason why I now would not recommend a 510 size kit to any new user, unless they absolutely insist on the "must look like a cigarette" option.
As somebody else pointed out there is a difference in the capacity of the auto versus manual 510 battery. I will keep this kit in use for times when I feel like a diversion from bigger batteries. But for the sake of the longer run time I would only get auto 510 batteries now. That, or the manual XL's.
For me? Fun to play with. But I would never leave home with a 510 system. Without a PCC, without extra batteries... Don't want all that extra luggage & bother - and the requisite man purse to carry it all.
