Anyone else done this? I started on the little Blu like e-cigs and then got myself a 510 starter kit... was fiddling with atomizers and carts and flat batteries too much, then I branched out to EGO's and Echo-E carts and now I find myself buying 510 Megas auto and manual and boge cartimizers lol.. I just really miss having a cig like size the Ego's are fantastic and I cant complain at all I just like smaller e-cigs! I did get the mega 510's the manual is 280mah and the auto is 340mah and since my vaping has calmed down I think the smaller cigs will work. Might keep an ego stocked for long car trips in case lol.

Agree if you like the slim batteries try the Volt, G6 and Bloog, which are all the same, just branded different. Slightly higher voltage than the 510 and the horizontal 808 cartomizers are awesome imo.

That's funny. Everyone that tries my 510 likes it better than the KR808.

I don't use either one that often but I have a bunch of different pvs around and let people try them before buying one. All seem to like the 510 better. Battery life stinks, but I like it better myself if I had to chose between the two.

It's interesting isn't it? I love the fact I can toss my fully charged ego in my bag with a full echo-e cart and know its not going to need any attention until I get home that night. But I do miss having that slim ciggy between my fingers over a Cuppa or at work lol. I haven't tested how long the mega 510's will last but I did get a pcc and one manual and one auto which will both charge in it. I did look at bloogs and volts and I hope I don't regret not choosing them but my reason was already having compatible parts because of having the smaller 510 batts and egos

I desperately tried for 7 months to love my 510, but now I have an eGo and I won't look back. At first I didn't like the size but now I don't lose it as often ;)

Did you also try the longer 510 batts? Was it always charging that bothered you. Or is it the vapour/TH not enough? I do love Ego too :) I think I just want the best of both worlds lol

I wanted to try the longer 510 batts, but never did. My ECF friend got me to try her eGo out (she actually SENT me a battery, she's awesome). I just couldn't handle the stress of cartridges, constant battery charging... I was getting very stressed, and I can't be that way since I have non-epileptic seizures :( Oh and the TH and vapor difference was way out of this world for me :D

    Best of both worlds
    P1000478.jpg

Only cost me $2.20 to build it, and the little 10440 bats only cost $2.45 each.
With a LR carto in it, it vaps right along with the big boys.

That is awesome!! very cute and easily carted around, how long does the battery last? is it a cartomizer in there?

Charge lasts a little over 4 hours with a 2ohm Boge carto. Bat says 600mAh on it, but they lied.
Yes, I set the depth of the connector for Boge Cartomizers.

Here it is beside a little SD Key Ring for size comparison

I started with the riva/ego/vgo models. Now I'm into the kr808 models right now... but I'm trying really hard to like them more than my joye 510 auto that I recently found.

my joye 510 is a powerhouse, even with a low battery life. I've been using two joye 510's and two volt batteries for the past few weeks and I've been satisfied. I prefer the smaller batts after using the bigger models.

I think the best part of the volt kits are the cartomizers. The liquid seems to last MUCH longer. I just ordered an adapter so I can use the carto's on my 510 models.

The PCC from smokeless image is also a godsend. I almost never run my volt batteries dry if I go out for the day.

    Hi Dyanne!

I did the same thing, sorta. I started out with 2 eGo kits with 900 mAh and 1000 mAh batteries. And to be honest, for first timers I don't think they should start with anything less than eGo in any size because of the "less fuss factor" when it comes to battery run time and charging.

In October, for giggles - and I wanted something that lit up in the dark (lol) - I bought a Joye 510 kit with 1 manual and 1 auto battery. I was surprised to find it a relief not holding onto something as heavy as a 900 or 1000 mAh eGo. And I do like fiddling with the smaller size 510, but I didn't feel like I was missing that "cigarette" experience either.

For me it's no more than an occasional diversion because the battery run times are just too short. I can't get one 510 battery to complete a charge before the one I'm using is depleted. (Is that typical?) That was my big 510 disappointment. And another reason why I now would not recommend a 510 size kit to any new user, unless they absolutely insist on the "must look like a cigarette" option.

As somebody else pointed out there is a difference in the capacity of the auto versus manual 510 battery. I will keep this kit in use for times when I feel like a diversion from bigger batteries. But for the sake of the longer run time I would only get auto 510 batteries now. That, or the manual XL's.

For me? Fun to play with. But I would never leave home with a 510 system. Without a PCC, without extra batteries... Don't want all that extra luggage & bother - and the requisite man purse to carry it all.

You hit the nail on the head with the standard 510 manual batts, they drove me nuts always on charge lol I was vaping a lot as I was craving cigs so I quickly moved on to ego set ups. But now my vaping has reduced a bit and I missed the smaller slimmer style but didn't want to go back to atties and carts too. The 510 batts I got this time are the XL or mega size, manual is 280 mah and the manual is 340mah. Basically still slim but longer, and I've gone for boge cartomizers instead of atties and carts. They say they should vape with moderate use for 3 hrs so 2 batts and PCC should work all day
