I am soooo glad to read your post. I was a noob last November as well and I bypassed all
the typical suggestions to noobs and went for the Provape 1 for my first PV.
(alot of reading here showed most veterans were using 3.7 and up)
I truly believe having the power from the beginning, was the reason I was able to lay down
the analogs for good in less than 2 weeks.
I just recently got my Provari and even though I was very happy with the Provape 1, the power
surpasses that one as well. Wonderful unit.
I wish more noobs took the chance and went from the beginning, to a 3.7 and up unit. It's
more than likely where they will end up anyway.
Congrats!!!!

Congrats - Great choice
When i switched for good, bought 2 passthru/1000mah eGo batts with Hi/Lo resistor type B tanks. it was the closest to "ciggy/cigar" with great lasting power and very user friendly. I'm having trouble finding a taste I like enough to stick too- I have tried 14-15 flavors so far. found out that TEMP/Watts affects juice. So I looked at VVs and the reviews, and I'd like a Pro, but the "Green XL 950" aka Ultimo Vision/Lux/etc. from china (only 3 way vv) was only $35- so I couldn't pass it up. And it works good for me so far. Now I've read a lot of High Volters coming/going back to 3.7 and single coils. Simple is usually better. Not trying to knock the PRO- and IF you can afford it, by all means do it! But for a noob, any GOOD set-up will work!
Keep Vapin! ;)

Very few nOObs make as good a call out of the gate as you did. I wish I had. I would have saved at least $500. $500 worth of stuff that is now collecting dust. FWIW and IMO, once you go with a good VV mod, there is no turning back.

I'm currently running a clouds of vapor prepunched carto with a map tank at 4.2 volts and this thing vapes like a freight train. I highly recommend this device to anyone. Are there any other noobs out there using the provari? :vapor:

The Provari was my first mod too.

Best decision I ever made.

I have several now. :)

My first mod was a simple 3.7V 14500 AA box mod. I still use it sometimes, when I'm out and about. It fits in my pocket or golf bag nicely. But when I decided I wanted VV, I went right to a Provari. I now have 3. Can't imagine using anything else.

Great choice by getting the best 1st.This way you have the device needed in succesfull vaping with all attys, cartos juice combos. This is the point most of us get to after spending much on other lower end pv's,mods ect.
The cost is well worth it i know if i was still smoking i would be spending about 300.00 a month.

Starting with high end mods is really the most cost effective way of vaping. You save lots of money in the long run by not having to be forever trading up from the beginner ecigs. Trying lots of different 30 or 40 dollar ecigs adds up fast, and once you have a high end mod, you only have to replace 7.00 batteries instead of 15 to 20 dollars for a proprietary battery. Plus high end mods hold their value should you ever quit vaping.

Glad to see that there are others who agree with stepping it up for a first purchase. I would've saved considerable time and money if I invested in a good mod out of the gate. ProVaris also hold a bit of resale value as well so it's a better investment than a disposable.

Congrats on your new mod and on quitting smoking!!

Hi, I started on a basic e cig a month ago and was still having analogs, got my provari a couple of weeks ago and currently vaping enjuice pineapple+sweetmint at 4.7 volts, havn't had an analog since and don't want one thanx very much! I got the extension end cap for a bigger battery lasts me about 2 days before a charge and drip into an atomiser, don't know if it's just me but it seems to feel fresher drippin. I'm waiting for a map tank to arrive from clouds of vapour, usa, can't wait to try it out.
Well worth the money compared to thousands spent on cigs!

Yep I agree with many here. A mod for the new vaper is the way to go. I bought my first PV/ Don and after converting a number of friends they gifted me a Provari. Lottas of Mods to choose from and if the Provari is unaffordable there's many other Mods to fit the budget. Oddly enuff I still prefer my Don. Strangely, when new vapers are asking about their first PV, rarely does the discussion of financial ability/ circumstances come up. First PV was a Mod and I know I made the right decision as it was a + vape from the get go.

Yeah, A Provari is More Expensive than most mods.

But I could have Actually Saved Money if I had just Bought it First insead doing all the Half Steps buy Slightly Better Starter Kits.

A Buzz-Pro is good too. Not as finished and not as many features, but a good solid VV mod
