Caridwen suggested i check to see about interest in this group idea. So here i am checking interest.
Group idea: WNY Vapers(or whatever name the group decides on)
who: members would be from buffalo area and south as far as ripley, jamestown or as far east binghamton. North east PA is also a possibility(i honestly have not looked to see where the PA vapers are from)
What: vapers in the area gathering for meets, and helping support other vapers in the area if their town is facing bans, regulation etc also to raise awareness about e cigs.
why: because we can(and its fun to meet fellow vapers!)
where, anywhere within the area the members are from.
The idea here would be to have a local group of like minded people who meet up occasionally to go places as a group and vape or if one town is facing regulation, and a member is willing to, go speak at said town meeting to help inform them. Im not talking sit ins or protests or anything crazy, just maybe have a vape meet in the town and if someone asks about it inform them.
I know there is a Rochester group and that is all good, perhaps we could have a combined vape meet with them eventually. However if you live in Jamestown Birmingham or silver creek or south of Buffalo Rochester is a bit of a drive and you likely would only go sparsely. I know from where i live Rochester is around 4 hours.
So lets have some people from the area check in or people outside the area that would be interested in coming to this area. The idea is to find a niche for people who may not want to drive 4+ hours on a monthly basis to meet up with a group of friends and have a great time!
