What about a "disposable battery" PV ? Could one be built? Let's say 9volt ?

Good Evening All.

In thinking about my new adventure, and being 10 days without an analog... My mind is beginning to wander.
:?:

I just came from RadioShack with my son, who needed to pick up a new charging cable for his Ipod thingy..

I strolled off to the small section that had misc. electronic components.. I thought it used to be a wall full of stuff, Now its just a hang begs on a wall.

It got me thinking a bit, as a actually pondered taking a Vape right in the store while looking at the selection of widgets that I know almost nothing about..... ( No , I didn't take a toot... But should have ! LOL)

I did recognize a standard 9V battery connector and box., amongst other battery boxes.
9v being the smallest I saw.

Disposable 9V batteries when bought in bulk seem to be about $1 ea..
Rechargable battery sets are about $10-15 ( 4 batteries)

I wonder what the right innovative PV electrician could make happen with one of these $1 power sources?
Is it even possible?

A 9volt and /or VV PV ( I only see 300-450mah.. not sure what that means for my idea?)

How much vape time would the average vaper get from this 9v device if used at average voltage (5v?)

What do you think ??

I am sorry about my lack of electrical expertise.. Just thinking outside the box.

Peace and God Bless,

Vin

Lower mah batts dont hold a charge as long as higher mah batts. Also, people have made mods using regular rechargeable AA and AAA batts. you just need more of them to reach your desired voltage which in turn makes your mod larger and at the rate people chain vape disposable batt's would just turn into a large monetary black hole!

And our atties aren't designed to handle 9volts. If you could get it running, your vape would be pretty hot coming out, probably unpleasant and I imagine you would be burning up/caking up atties like crazy.

I have a 3.7v mod that runs on 1 14500 Li-Ion battery. The battery cost 6 bucks, I got 4 of them and rotated them for 6 months. They're not dead yet, but I retired them to an emergency stash. That's like 4 dollars a month. IF the disposable AA's would last the same time, I'd be using one a day minimum, and then at 1 dollar per battery, that would be ~ 30 a month.

You would also want to read up on under-drawing. If you use a 9v battery and regulate it down to 5v, you've got 4volts that's getting kicked out as heat...which can melt/damage things, including the battery itself. I'm not sure how much this would apply to a standard lead battery, but with Li-Ion cells, it causes thermal runaway. In such a case, the battery creates a self-sustained chain reaction. Bad stuff.
