Yes Rob has said he will release a mod designed for an 18650 and a Kick. It will also have a spacer to use in place of the Kick so you can run it either way. Stated timing is sometime in 2014.
I remember that post.. but I was hoping for a kit that apply to my actual Reo Grand with 18490 battery and kick.
Just an 'official' hardware to do what other members allready done in fancy ways.

Ive seen plenty of people using the kick in the reo grand with an 18490, sometimes they use some sort of something jimmied in the corner to keep the kick straight up and down, sometimes not.

Is this the thing you are speaking of? Sort sort of stabalizer/holder to use the kick in the Grand with 18490?

On the other note, a kicked 18650 Grand would be cool.

I generally don't use a kick, prefer the Subular ohmage lifestyle, #yoloswag420killa, but I do have one and use it from time time.

Hey a question about the kick, if say it's dialed at 15 watts, will the output be exactly 15 watts or subject to voltage drop?

Also, instead of scrapping the powder coating of in my grand, could I solder a wire to the grounding spring and connect it to the hot spring at the bottom? Would that work as well?

I will give it some thought I believe your looking for a ground plate ?

Yep.. a ground plate and somethingh to block the kick in place when I swap battery or push the firing button!
The new kick2 has two little springs and it move outplace often when you fire the mod.

THe old Kick version one was much easier to ground because you could run a wire from the spring up to the ground spring of the Kick and wrap the wire around the loop that was at the end of the grounding spring. With the Kick 2 which features two grounding posts its not as easy.

..for us "normal" people... That:admin: the reason I ask for Rob !

Funny I tried the new kick and it seemed to stay in place better then the old kick . I will mess around with this this week and see if I can come up with something . The negative plate would be easily made with some ship stock
