The answer I am 95% sure is no....it would be like trying to get caffeine by sniffing the vapor coming from a cup of coffee.

The vapor is primarily caused by the heating of the PG or VG in your juice. This is the same stuff that gives us the smoke effect in theater productions and music concerts. It's also the delivery system in some asthma inhalers.

Vermonter got it right...

There has never been any mention about second hand nicotine.
There is no law about it either.
And I'm sure there are much worse things already in the air anyway..
Carbon monoxide from our cars for example...

However, in the interest of our fight against the Anti Eciggers, I would say we need to be courteous.

If someone complains, be courteous. Don't blow it right at them, blow it down in your shirt or something.
And when push comes to shove, Vape like you smoked.
If you're in an area that smoking is not allowed, go ahead and vape until someone complains. Then give an explaination, if they still are against it, be courteous.
You're not giving up anything that you had before. We're used to having to find the right places to smoke, apply the same logic to vaping.

The last thing we need is to start being all uppity and bragging about how "It's not a cigarette, so you can't do anything about it. Neener neener neener..."

No second hand nicotine. I think Vocalek (Elaine) has the articles. Nicotine is absorbed instantly through the back of the mouth and at such levels that no residual nicotine is exhaled with the PG or VG. PV's have no side stream effects like smoking. While it may be rude to blow vape into someone's face, it's not harmful. At least it hasn't proven to be yet.
