Hi Holly! The market here in the United States has really begun to grow in the past couple of years. Most of the growth has been in the retail portion of the market -- small independent "Mom & Pop" eliquid vendors (who sell online), and independent "Brick & Mortar" stores selling US made eliquids and e-cig hardware & accessories (produced by others - many overseas). There are still many smaller cities in the United States that do not have stores in their area.

Many of us are purchasing our hardware/accessories either directly from China (via sites like fasttech or Ebay) or from American suppliers (who are also getting their inventory from manufacturers/resellers overseas). American tobacco manufacturers have been very slow in getting into this industry.

I don't know how much help this site will be to you in evaluating the market. However this is the most comprehensive site that I know of for learning about e-cigarette products.

Hi, Susan, Thanks for you reply. I knew the site fasttech and ebay. A lot of factories use Ebay to sell products. But fastech is blocked in China mainland. However, I tried to enter fastech through some software tool. I will study both website and then try to figure out if it is good timing for me to enter the market now.

BTW, are you selling E-cig now? on line of offline?

No, I am not a seller. I am a former smoker who discovered c-cigarettes online and purchased one in 2006 from an online vendor in China. I think the vendor was Green Smoke. I live in a large community (3 million+). But it was not until 2010 that the first very small store opened in my area (35 miles from my home). They sold 4 different starter kits but they had a juice bar where I could try their e-liquid before buying. That was nice.

I still do most of my purchasing online because of the variety of products available. There are a few e-liquids I purchase locally but I buy most of those online as well. There is so much more variety from "high-end" e-liquid vendors online than there currently is from local vendors.

Check out this thread on another Company out of China: Focalecig ... A new Fasttech??
