Just got my new ego-c, upgraded from a 801. Veteran dripper and the idea of having a cart that I fill once instead of constantly having to drip, especially while driving, really appealed to me. Problem is that after a couple of draws it seems to get locked up. Like sucking a really thick milk shake thru a tiny straw. If I pull the cart out and reinsert it will work fine for another couple of draws and then lock up again. Constantly pulling the cart out and reinserting it is a PITA. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have a link to the device you have? Have you tried a new C atomizer? Are the caps on the tanks hard or soft? When you fill the tank/cart, do you leave about 20% empty? Does it gurgle, spit, leak?
What ratio liquid are you using? PG/VG
The "C" has come and gone from my kit. The EgoX/Imist was another fail in my book.
Check out the Kanger T4, it might be perfect on your current battery.

Good luck
have fun

cart/tank maybe I am using the wrong terminology. The small plastic mouthpiece with the supply of juice that is plugged into the cone/atomizer.

Some eGo-c tanks come with the hole already punched, some don't. The ones that don't - we usually recommend pre-punching them, but if you didn't - chances are there is a 'chad' - like in the voting card chads - that is hanging off the inside of the tank or perhaps even on the spike itself. Pull the chad off the tank and check the spike.

I 'pre-punch' the hole using the end of a ball point pen (after taking out the ink cartridge) - the closer to the size of the spike, the better - if it's a tad small than the spike that's even better - it tends to 'hug' the spike when the tank is inserted - less possibility of a leak there.

Check all air passage - along the flat side of the tank and also the air holes by the battery connection. Don't block them with your fingers when vaping ;) If you're doing that, you aren't the first :D

Depending on your finances, I'd also recommend the Kanger T3 in the 1.8Ω coil. Good Prophets has that as the default ohms in theirs. Get one T3 and then get a 1.8 ohm replacement coil and one 2.2ohm replacement coil in case you have some light flavors.

Kent C-thanks that helped. I found the "chad" floating around in the liquid and removed it. Apparently every time I was taking a draw it was being pulled against the spike and blocking the flow. It is drawing well now. Will the Kanger T3 work with the Ego batteries that I have?

Cool that you found it - probably exactly what was happening since it's no longer the case!

Yes, the Kanger T3's fit on the eGo-c. The T3's have the 'eGo skirt' that goes past the batt connection. Other clearos with the 510 connection only have the batt connection sticking out below the tank - they'll 'fit' an eGo but doesn't look that good. The T3's are the same diameter as the eGo and they have a 3ml tank - so about .5-.8 ml over the type B eGo-c tank and 1.5 ml over the type A tank. And again, they have replaceable coils which cost a bit less than the atty heads of the eGo-c.

Tabac BCC = Kanger T3, btw...

It sounds like you have an eGo-C battery and atomizers. If that's the case, please watch this video from Vicky from Cignot--she explains everything beautifully. I still use my eGo-C atties and I still like them, BTW.

Thanks for the video Katya. I quit smoking with the Joyetech ego-c in June and still use it and like it. Though Ive used many other devices since, there is a lot of good things about the ego-c for me. In fact, have been using the Bulli-Smoker A2-T for a week now and choose it for a rebuidable atty because of how much I like the ego-c. I must say....I love it :D
