What am I doing wrong?

I got a bottle of Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured and dripped a few drops on a brand new 510 atty and thought I'd found the grail. What a wonderful taste and mouth feel! Next day not as much, but still good, by the third day was getting more of a scorched taste than anything else and haven't been able to get that original taste no matter if I drip or use a cart. Have I burned the atty? If so what can I do to fix it?

I'm just gong to venture a guess, so take it for what it's worth:

What color is that juice? Dark color juices tend to foul up atty's quicker than light colored juices.

Thanks for the link, that made a lot more sense to me than the coke/pepsi method I'd read about. I'll give it a try.

I've found that more with thicker juices. I have some 100% VG stuff that I drip only, and still just can't chain vape. When I use it I just have to set the PV down more often, or switch to some PG mix if I don't want to. IMO the thicker juice just doesn't wick as well, leading to a dry burn that probably leaves a buildup. And yeah, clean it out before it gets real bad and you trash the atty.

I also believe that there are some flavors that just don't do well consistently. I have a cappuccino flavor that is great when it's working right. However, let the atty just think about getting a little dry and it's not just off, but downright nasty. Smooth, creamy coffee flavor to burnt, used coffee grounds in one draw! FWIW that flavor is clear and colorless.

I'm new to the forum here and was browsing when I came here. I ordered a starter kit and sampler of liquids, my question would be where is the best place to get eliquid that wont cause it to taste horrible or is it just the technique?

Mostly it's just preference. Not everybody likes the same flavors. You just have to try, try, try until you find juices and vendors that you like.

I tried the ISO soak and the vape is so much better. It doesn't match that first hit, but that was with a brand new atty and no doubt I've scorched this one somewhat. I have some more attys coming in today or tomorow and will try comparing the two. Thanks for the help.
