I am a all day tank user. By the looks of it, that's a Smoktech tank and carto. May be re-branded. I agree that you need to fill the carto completely. It will hold about 1ml (1cc). But it takes awhile to get it in there. Add some wait, rinse and repeat. Then fill the tank with the caps on. Do this by sliding the carto down slightly and tilting the carto to one side. Either carefully drip in, or use syringe or needle bottle. When you push the carto backup you will not displace any juice. If you are flooded on top of the carto even after waiting for it to settle, use a paper towel to soak it up. after getting juice mouth (we have all done it), rinse and dry your drip tip.

In case you are not getting good air flow, you can use a small size paper clip straitened out. You insert from the batter 510 side. Do not force it! If you encounter resistance pull back try again slight new angle. Once you see the wire through the top, you can move up and down 5 to 8 mm to clear the air flow.

Lets keep trying, we will coach you through it. You will love the tank once you figure it out.

Bill.. Do yourself a favor and scrap that tank thing. There are a lot of good clearomizers and cartomizers that will fit your battery and eliminate all those leaking and wicking problems.

Grab a pack of LR Boge cartomizers. Crystalclearvaping has them cheap and free shipping. Or get some Fluxomizers. They taste great, never leak and there is zero "fiddle factor".

There's no sense in bashing your head into a wall. Dripping into the atomizer is tricky sometimes. It's easy to flood your atty, which is what happened, until you get the hang of it. Take the atty off and blow out the excess. Drip only 2 or 3 drops at a time and vape until it starts tasting burnt. It takes some practice to know the right amount to avoid flooding. The atomizer you have isn't really designed for dripping, so that complicates things, but you should be able to do it long enough to hold you over until your new cartomizers arrive.

i ordered some clearomizers and fluxomizers last night

Good move. If you want to give tanks another try without the leaking and wicking hassles, I would try the Vision Stone 3. Discount Vapers has them for about $11. I've abandoned the whole carto tank thing entirely since I found those. They don't use a cartomizer and they're sealed top and bottom with threaded caps and silicone gaskets. I have yet to have one leak. They also taste better because they don't use a cartomizer filled with polyester. The only fault I can find is that you need to tip them horizontal once in a while when the juice level gets low. The guts are replaceable and last forever. I'm going on a month on one of them and you don't need new guts every time you change flavors. When they finally burn out, you can get replacement coils for $3.

Between the VS3, Fluxomizers and a couple dripping attys, it's all I ever need for my Bullet, eGo and Lavatube.

You know you can get cartos that hold a significant amount of juice. My Smoketeck 1.7ohm LR cartos hold almost 2ml of juice. Andrew at CCV laughed at me today when I mentioned that I filled the condom about 3/4 of the way full and topped off. How the hell was I supposed to know a condom holds 1ml of liquid, lol? I wondered why I wasn't seeing any juice in the top?
