what are my choices for voltage regulators?

I've been poking around this forum for a couple of hours now looking, and was hoping to find a list of the various off the shelf (or easy to assemble) voltage regulators used by modders.

I just built Mamu's Arlo and had so much fun, I wanted to do another - but dna chips are so hard to come by, I thought maybe I'd try something different.

I know (obviously) about the DNAs, and then there's the Vamo (Vomo at fasttech?), the raptor, the OKR - but I'm unfamiliar with those - pros/cons/capabilities.

Did I miss any? What are my other choices? I can follow a simple schematic and I'm getting better at soldering, but I'm not at all interested in wiring my own circuit boards or anything too extreme.

also, why do I never see any 26650 box mods.

I was wondering about building an unregulated type device and cutting in a kick module so you could run unregulated/mech and then flip a switch to have VV/VW options.

On topic: I have a VAMO V3 PCB I am working with to build an ittybitty mod, it's pretty straightforward especially if you use the buttons instead of rewiring to use external buttons. The Vamo is limited at 5amps IIRC, and I am unfamiliar with the OKR and raptor so I have no input on those.

There's threads here in the modding forum with schematics and wiring guide for the Raptor 20A, 120W board and the OKR board.

You can buy the Nivel here: Nivel

It's a nice modder's board and comes already pre-wired and needs no external components other than a fire switch and an optional LED, but is limited with only max current of 3.5A.
