I've settled on Boge 2.0ohms after having spent over a thousand dollars on various kits parts juices etc. These are the ones for me. I don't clean them or anything. Use until the taste isn't right and toss.

I did see the new dual coil version though and they seem to be of similar design to the Boge style, so I may be giving those a shot.

The new bottom hoiz coil 3ml cartos are the coming thing. They just came out with one called the echo-e that works on ego/Rivas and is getting great reviews but they are just getting to the customers today. Mine are in the mail on the way. I've been using the same type on my Go-Go and now on my Echo and they work awesome. They advertise at least 100 refills. You can clean them and dry burn the coil if you remove the filler. You can get them at Cropduster901.com

I've been liking the Boge 2.0 and the dual coils. The boge 2.0's are very reliable, relatively cheap and widely available. the dual coils are more expensive, newer, hotter, bigger and eat up the battery life on a 650 maH but the heat, capacity and durability of the 2 I have consumed (from a box of 5) are impressive.

tad bit harsh and seems to last better with a light juice.

Here is the first report on them on the Ego subforum.

First evening with an Echo-E carto
Hey Folks,

I'll try to keep this as brief as possible. All of the praise is very well deserved. The Echo-E is one fine carto. Great vapor, flavor, capacity, and TH. The Echo-E is the real deal. A few details worth mentioning...

I filled a new carto slowly, 5 drops at a time, with a pause in between. I stood the carto on a clean paper towel during pauses and carefully watched for that first drop to drip out the bottom. The first drop appeared between drops 75 and 80. This means the capacity is much higher than advertised.

After connecting the carto to a standard manual eGo battery I started vaping away and occasionally checked the battery connection for any leaking. There is none. The battery connection is dry.

Then I connected the carto to a true 3.7 eGo battery (4.2V off the charger) and not surprisingly it hits harder. It will be personal preference which is better. But the difference is quite noticeable.

Some people have mentioned the need to cut back on their nic level when using the Echo. When I first heard this, I was skeptical. I am no longer skeptical. This is not a negative. It is simply the reality of such an efficient carto.

Bottom line, the Echo-E carto is ideal and economical for those of us currently using eGo hardware.

We have three great Echo suppliers on this forum...

dput (Mountain Vapor)
fogdaddy (cropduster901)
JohnnyBass

I strongly suspect that their Echo inventory will dwindle rapidly.

The Ikenvape Gold V2 are pretty decent, the Fusions seem better in my limited experience. The dual-coils also rock. 2+ weeks of heavy vaping, I have never gotten that before. I haven't tried the clear DC's, but I have a couple here that were shipped to me by mistake.

Whatever you do, don't buy any of the CE2 clearomizers. The popular names for them are failomizers or suckomizers. Just horrible. I fell for the bait. If you're insistent on trying them, let me know. I have about 20 I'd make you a sweet deal on. Sweet for me, that is - I recoup some cost and you'd be stuck with the dumb things. In fairness, some seem to like to like them. So whatever.

If you're getting back in, try some of the dual-coils. Nice stuff. I still like the ole plain-jane Boge's, but the DC's are so rich and long-lasting...

Any of Ikenvape.com's cartomizers. They have several types of threads available for differenty types of batteries but have patience...Isaac sells out quickly and you have to stalk his website.

Boge low resistance cartomizers. These can be found on most vendor's websites.

Dual coil cartomizers are also really good.

Most cartomizers can be used on any battery as long as there is an adapter available for it.

So you could use the echo-e with an ego then? The plot thickens.

I have used ce2's for over a year and I like them a lot for durablility. I do mod them slightly before use just pulling the plug and putting in upside down. I have dual coils on the way and hope they are worth the hype. Vortex aren't quite there but have promise. Never liked the boge only went through a few packs before I scratched that idea years ago. I'm on the ce2 bandwagon until something wows me. Come on dual coils!

I'm a heavy vaper, and the ce2's just don't wick fast enough for me, especially at a higher wattage (6.5-9.5 watts). Every 4 hits, I get that burnt taste (modded and unmodded), also, you need a syringe to top off or refill...too much for me. The Vortex was a great idea, but again...wicking is an issue as well, and people are still trying to mod these things. For me, the Boges are great, right out of the box...fill them properly, keep them wet...and you're ready to go. I've been vaping for awhile and 2ohm Boge cartos + my Provari (@4.2v) = "My sweet spot" (finally...haha)

I understand why many don't like them. You have to do a lot of trial and error to get them where you want em. Too much messing around for most vapers. Also I have to tilt them up so the juice is around the coil to get consistent vape after vape. I'm a cheapskate so I didn't like tossing boge's out after a day or two. Can get 2 weeks to a month out of clearos. I hope the dual coils hold up well. I want to get at least a week out of each...

Yeah I had to do that with my MAP Tank, tilt it to keep it wicked. I toss my cartos out every 3 days...but I have a ton of them...haha, maybe I should try cleaning them. Im currently testing out a dual coil on a Sparkplug (Provari doesn't play too well with 1.4ohms), and it's almost the exact thing as my Boge cartos, seems to eat more juice since its longer to compensate for the extra coil.
