Hello All,

A while back I, like many others, purchased the "Blu" electronic cigarettes. I quickly realized that there were other models out there that were far superior and since then the Blu cigs have been collecting dust in my ecig graveyard. Anyway here is my question. What exactly are the Blus? I have noticed that the batteries and attys are interchangeable with the standard 510's yet there are slight differences between the two. From other similar models I have seen on the market my best guess is that the Blu's are just rebranded m401's. Anyone care to chime in.....

The BLU is a 2 piece super mini ecig. They are grossly overpriced for what they are. While i believe their model is proprietary I think it is an L88 or something like that.

It doesn't matter what it is, this is rather simple - buy something else.

You can buy a standard 510 kit for about $35. Blu is likely 4 times that and a worse product. Just saying...

Personally, i think if you smoke 1 pack a day or more, the best choice by FAR is an eGO. If a light smoker, then a standard 510 or other mini "might" be fine.

Blu's are L88Bs and they use a standard 510 thread but have a reversed polarity so you can't use a 510 charger with them. It's been said that to improve the vapor/TH, use a standard resistance 306 atty on them and drip. They are good little PVs but they do require some modification and make a good backup. If you're a light smoker, then they'll work just fine - when I first started vaping, a cart and a half would last me all day and I'd go through both batts in one day. However, if you're like most, you quickly outgrow them as your vaping increases.

As for the Magmas, they are essentially 510s with an improved atty.
