Boooo.. 80's > All!
Pop music reached it's pinnacle in the 80's...and then died. It died a horrible, horrible death. 
What music are you listening to while you are vaping...
(or working, or hanging out, or driving [don't post and drive!], etc...?)
I'm listening to a playlist consisting of bands like;
The White Stripes
Electric Six
Jamiroquai
The Pixies
And so on...

Pixies - yes! They are my favorite band. It's always awesome to find another Pixies fan.
Right now? The glorious sounds of silence! After a workday in an Elementary school, it's the best possible thing for my mental health.
XM radio has remided me how much I loved 80's music and how much 90's music, for the most part, sucked

@McDougal, I LOVE the Pixies. I only know one other person who knows who they are. I thought that they were more popular than that, but I guess they are a somewhat stealthy band...? I guess most people have probably heard Monkey Gone to Heaven, but I don't think that they know who performs it.

I think David Bowie said it well: "I always thought there was a psychotic Beatles in there.... Someone once said that Velvet Underground didn't sell many albums, but everyone who bought a Velvet Underground album formed a band. I would have to suggest that the same thing really applies to the Pixies. Once you heard them, you wanted to have a band just like that."
I'm not afraid to admit that I love Hall & Oates. I can't help it.
