DIY Apple Pie - 11-14% Capella Apple Pie, 2-4% Capella Graham Cracker, optional 1% sucralose and/or 2 drops/5ml Vape Wizard - tastes good even before steep. 6mg nicotine for me right now. I love vapor but more than 50% VG and it feels like I'm "vaping on faith" - I need TH. To raise VG I need more power (lower ohm build .5-.7) so it still hits me how I like.
I use and love my mechanical APV. I had various mini's, Go-Go's and eGo's (pen-style), and a Lavatube and Smoktek SiD (18650 VV's) before I decided to go mech a year or two ago.
Magma RBA clone,
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1785901 dual coil 28g 6/7 wrap @ 0.8 ohms, cotton wick - Magma has a deep well, the air hole placement couldn't be better, a small chamber and dome-shape inside cap help flavor, and it's the easiest RBA to build on imo (space, horizontal coils). Juice tastes WAY better on this than a Genesis tank with identical dual coil setup. If I go lower ohms (thicker wire, less wraps, more coils) battery life is horrible and it's just overkill. Cotton wick is easiest to install and replace, tastes fine (con: burns when dry easily, replaced/cleaned often, removal for coil dry burning).
Stingray brass battery mod clone.
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1664300 It's been my daily driver for 6 months and it still is. Brass conducts electricity better than SS for minimal voltage drop (hits better, longer batt life). The switch, despite dropping the whole thing on concrete several times, works great still. The positive pin is floating so no additional adjustments necessary when switching atties. It's 5-10mm shorter than many other 18650 mechanical mods (nemesis, chi).
Sony VTC4 batteries.
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1628900 With a sub-ohm setup, 30A discharge for performance and safety.
My rig with 4 batteries and charger was <$100, it won't break without some serious user error, and it's brand new after a polish and a rebuild. Love.
