Finally taking the VV plunge head on. Ordered 2 1000mah Ego Twists, (black and chrome), a USB charger and some more CE3 clearos. Oh, and a black cone cover to make it look a little better. I've been using the Vea since last November and it is 'good' but the Vea cartos just don't last as long as I want them to. I've been using the CE3's on my Vea batteries and they work really well except a bit of diminish flavor/TH. So I figured it's time to step it up.
Still plan on using the Vea for a back up. Placed my order with Altsmoke this morning. Can't wait!

Well, this is my first post, but, heres what im waiting on.

From Mt. Baker Vapor - 50ml bottle of Vanilla tobacco (18mg 65/35) 30ml bottle of Thug Juice (24mg 65/35) and 30ml bottle of Dream Tea (18mg 50/50)

From CigTechs - Tatroe tank (I broke one of the tops of one of my ProTanks and figure this would be better for when at work and use the glass tank at home)

From gotvapes.com - SMOKtech Pyrex Glass DCT 6ml Tank (Black) and a refill funnel.

From fasttech.com - Vamo V3 kit (with batteries and charger) and some drip tips.

Been using e-cigs for a long time, finally switched to an eGo style PV i got for pretty cheap, to see if this was for me or not, and now ive spent a few hundred in the past few weeks on things now. I decided the Vamo would be a good start for a vv/vw PV. I found the Tatroe mod for the ProTank and even though it isnt exactly cheap, it sure as hell beats having a busted pro-tank i cant use... This alwas happens, as soon as i start saving money, i spend it. At least this time I am buying things that will last me a while.

just got my vamo v3 today, what tip(tank?) best goes with it in your opinion?

to be honest, i cant say. I am using the totalvapor kit at the time (i got it for $50 cash out the door at my local tobacco shop). I am going with the V3 to upgrade. I will be using the ProTank, modded ProTank (PT base and Tatroe tank) and will try the SMOKtech Pyrex tank when it comes in. Since I am still waiting on the Vamo, I cant say which works best. Main reason I am making the switch is for the vv/vw control and it puts out (from what Ive read) more amperage than my cheapo starter kit I bought to try and see if PVs were for me.

Evods & Protanks. use Evod coils on both :)

Why do you suggest using the EVOD coils? Only asking since i got a 5 pack of ProTank coils for a good price when I grabbed my ProTanks. I hear a lot of people who complain about the airy draw but it doesnt seem to be much my airy than the cheapo clearomizers they sell at the same shop i got my cheapo starter kit at.

I got evod coils the same week I got my protanks and have been using them since.
I didn't notice much difference when I switched from pt to evod coils but a lil.

A few weeks ago, after using evod coils exclusively for over a month, I tried a protank coil again.
I switched back to the evod after less than 10 hits and have no use for my airy pt coils.
PT coils work fine. I like the evod coils better. YMMV

What ohms are the most popular, I have been using 2.4, but its only because thats all my local place carries

I've been using 1.8 in case I got stuck with a fixed voltage ego.
All my batteries are VV and I'm expecting VAMOs in the mail so it's never been an issue.

Someone proposed that you might get better hits with higher resistance.
Theory is juice gets a "running start" since higher resistance coils take longer to heat hence less chance of dry hits.

Waiting on a Richman RBA, was on mod envy and my name was drawn to win it :p
Now I cant wait to try my hand at RBA's

Congrats Viper41!!
I have one and it is exactly like a AGA-T2 with skirts.
The only problem I've had is the top cap liked to stick to the o-rings. Fixed it by sanding & polishing the inside of the cap. Works great now.
