Ever notice how when you're not doing anything particularly important, the mail shows up in a timely manner....but if, for example, you delay going somewhere until your package shows up THAT's when the mailman takes his sweet time getting to your house?

Pretty ...... at my mailman, I was supposed to get this on Wednesday but the guy I bought it from shipped it late, so it was supposed to get here today. It says it was put out for delivery early this morning and we haven't gotten any mail at all today. We usually get it around 1pm and it's already like 3:20pm.
I hate being disappointed.ETA: Part of the reason I really wanted to get this today or yesterday is because someone that I live with usually tells me off for ordering things in the mail, so I was hoping to get it without this person knowing. I have to go somewhere tomorrow while that person will be home but if I'm lucky I can get home and check the mail first. What an ordeal lol.

Keep the faith! Yesterday my Stingray X clone was out for delivery and every other day the mailman is promptly in our edition by 3:30 or so, for some reason they didn't show up till nearly 5 o'clock. Hope it works out for the better!

ETA: You were completely right! It just came; that's only happened once to me before, usually they just deliver it the next day.
