I'm forever wishing for more of christopher eccleston but I know thats over and done with.

Thought I was a rare breed to prefer Eccleston. Loving the new doctor, too.

One recommendation I must repeat: The Brink. Oh, and new season Drunk History just started. Haven't checked it yet.

A scene from Torchwood Season 1 Episode 11
Is this the same place as in the movie Lock, Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels?

Who's going to tell him

Quote -
"Honestly — and I've said it all along — it was never designed to have a Season 2," showrunner Chad Hodge said. "It was always these 10 episodes. So this ending was just intended to show that history repeats itself — ergo the episode's title, 'Cycle.' That no matter how many lessons you think you learn, violence continues and bad decisions keep getting made."

There are 46 episodes of Dr. Who in my DVR starting tomorrow morning on BBC America HD leading up to 9PM on Saturday night. The reason there are so few is because I watched about 25 over the past couple of weeks leading up to the pre season-premiere marathon. I'm not going to rewatch the eps I just watched again. I'm not some sort of fanatic FCS!

Fear The Walking Dead -
S01E03 - Halfway through the episode, I'm like: OK, moving on...excellent! By the end of the episode, I'm like: That last half of the show was just filler. They should know better. The same writers took a lot of heat every time they did that on The Walking Dead.
Oh well.

Fear the Walking Dead should be renamed to Attack of the Stupid People. I keep hoping it will get good, but every new episode leaves me wanting to hit the television because of the blatant stupidity of the characters. It's like they decided to make a Politically Correct Walking Dead.

For example, Travis has seen the zombies. He knows they are already dead but still walking. He knows they will try to eat you. He knows that they have to be hit in the head hard enough to destroy the brain to stop them. He knows he is in a city with a potential to produce millions of these zombies...

Yet he refuses to allow his son to learn about guns because he is anti-gun? REALLY?

I've decided that I'll finish watching this season of it, but I seriously doubt I'll watch next season. The only reason I'm going to watch the last two episodes is in hope that his son Chris is cornered by dozens of zombies and he sits and watches his own son being eaten because he wouldn't grab a gun. THAT might be enough to get me to watch the next season. MAYBE.

    The Walking Dead Lite

Now with 90% less story. Tastes great, Less filling!

Yea, pretty slow so far. But keeping in mind these are city folks, not nearly as prepared to deal with them like the country folk. I'm curious to see how the first season plays out. Not giving up.....yet...although I really like Nick and his mom. They are some bad azzes, even though Nick is messed up.

It's not a "city folk" issue. I guarantee you can come to Texas and you will be hard pressed to find anyone that stupid. It's a "our plot sucks, our characters are stupid, and this is a lame attempt at cashing in on another show we produce but was designed around an excellent series of graphic novels" issue.

Another example of the absolute blatant stupidity.

They want to leave the city. They know they will be gone for days, weeks, possibly months or more. Where do they plan to go?

The desert, where there is no food and no water.

And this brilliant plan is conceived by the guy who is anti-gun and therefore cannot hunt.

And no one in that neighborhood finds it at all strange that there is NO ONE outside their fences? Sure, they begin to figure things out near the end of the last episode, but LA is a city of millions, and NO ONE is left alive outside their fences? And there's dead bodies everywhere, but no one heard all of the shooting? I mean, come on, it must have sounded like a non-stop war for days to kill everyone within 6 miles of the fences, how did no one know it was happening? Didn't anyone hear it? Didn't anyone climb on their roof to get a look?
