My coil right now is a 2.2 single and I'm vaping at 9w. Could it be the juice that's giving you the hard TH? My fiancé has the exact same set up as me, same mod same RBA, with a 2.0 single at 8w and his kills me. But he's vaping a 50/50 blend and mine is 30pg 70vg. I've had some flavors I could handle at 50/50 but not many
Yeah the juice does factor in; my regular Virginia has excellent TH, and in my Kayfun I found the TH so extreme at my original 85/15 PG/VG I had to drop the PG so now I'm vaping the Virginia at 67/33 PG/VG. I'm trying to acclimate myself to more VG slowly, as it gives me a very unpleasant feeling in my chest, as if I need to cough up, yet nothing moves. But I can't use my regular Virginia in the dripper *at all* or just about die coughing.
In the dripper, using the 2.2Ω, at 6w, I was able to handle some French Vanilla *very* well, but when I tried the Belgian Cocoa, oooh that was rough; it must have some TH all its own. Also, Apricot was manageable in the dripper, since it has no TH of its own, however I can't use the dripper for the Apricot I have right now; it's 12mg, which means I can *only* use it for the first 30 mins I'm awake or it makes me ill, gives me stomach pains, the whole nic-OD spectrum, and that first 30 mins of the day is when my throat/chest is most intolerant of TH. So until I get some lower-nic Apricot I'm using it in a Mini PT II, which mutes the TH in any case.
Just ordered a different vendor's Vanilla, at 6mg, so I figured I'd try it in the dripper, when it gets here. Also thinking it would mix well with the Apricot, to bring that 12mg down a little.
