MTL question, Kayfun Prime (single coil) in use with a mechanical mod.

What build/coil should I do in order to get the less vape possible in a mechanical mod.

Assume that it takes me 3 seconds each time I vape.
Hi V,
What is your current build?
What is the PG content of your juice? Nicotine content?
What wire are you using?
Is the mech a single 18650? Stacked 18350?

Cheers

yes, Smallest Cloud posible.

My current build is 0.93 omhs (28ga Nichrome 3mm rod, 5 wraps, space coil)
Zero Nicotine, 65% vg 35% pg
Single 18650 mod

there are tricks to make vape clouds less visible involving the juice rather than the coil.

high PG juices produce less visible vapor than high VG juices. Adding a very small amount of distilled water can reduce it further. Too much water causes problems though.

I dont want to hide the cloud, I want to inhale less.
and PG is not my favorite lol.
Small coil low voltage then. Less energy in less energy out.
“Single 18650 mod” could be either mechanical or regulated though. If it’s a mech controlling voltage is really hard. You put in a smaller coil it just gets hotter. The battery will keep pumping out what joules it has.
The particulars of mechs are not a specialty of mine, and your goal is the opposite of what most want from a mech. If it is a mech.

You can try 6 or 7 wraps with the same wire. This will increase resistance (less current), and increase mass (longer ramp up).

Or, try same build with Kanthal – it’s higher resistance will result in less current.

You are going to have to experiment a bit to find what you like.
