I'm on board with the latest trend of using LR attys on my 3.7 devices. Its a wonderful thing, but it seems they are made for dripping only. Is there a cart mod that would keep the atty sufficiently moist w/o having to drip constantly? Or is this a novelty item for drippers only? The LR melted my ZFM within 30 seconds.

You might try the screen mod. It uses a pipe screen formed into a cup that goes in so the cup tip points towards the atty. If the atty is melting heat-resistant silicone, it might melt any other poly materials like fluval or blue foam. It might melt the cart material itself, though, too, so you may have a problem with any plastic cart, modded or not.

And as a chemist, and given the newness of these LR attys, I would be concerned that juice might be getting cooked as well. Temps high enough to melt heat-resistant Si are high enough to cause thermal reactions.
