What carto for 5v box mod?

I have some low res "ressurrector" cartos from ccr, and after 10 minutes or less, something goes into protection mode as the carto will only fire for about 2 seconds. Which low res carto will work, this is frustrating. 5v is mil.es better than an ego battery but im stuck again with ill performing products.

You don't want lr with 5v. Try 3ohm or 1.5 dual coils

A 3ohm SR Boge carto works the best. If you want to use the larger Smoketech cartos, use the 2.5ohm ones.

This is why variable voltage is desirable. You can tailor the voltage to match almost any carto. 3 ohms is good for 5v.

Agreed. LR's are not needed with 5 volt models. I use 2.5 ohm to 3.0 ohm 801 cartos from both Madvapes and Ikenvape and they work really well. I also use 1.5 ohm dual coils without an issue. With the dual coils, however, you must have "high drain" batteries or they will trip the batteries protection circuit.

The Ressurectors (smoktech 1.7ohm XL cartos) are designed to be used at 3.7V. Using them at higher voltages, and especially that much higher, risks burning the juice and popping the coil.
Like others said, go with a 3.0ohm carto

Dual coil cartomizer (1.6ohm) or Boge 3ohm (what I use the most). Both work great at 5V.

I wonder how the Evercool is made to get around that. Interesting. I know on my basic 5 volt box mod, dual coils only work with the high drain. With the regular li-on's, they would trip.

...the VV chip used in mine is rated at 10 amps, the switch used is rated for 5amps...the batts I am using are the basic UltraFire Grey 900mah from madvapes...other than that, I have no idea........
