Hi guys I’m going to be purchasing a carto tank today, I have pretty much tried everything else lol

i have stardusts viv novas I have small clearos I have boge cartos but I would like to try slotting and tanking my cartos.

Please feel free to recommend a specific carto as well.
Slotted is fine but i will be slotting or punching them myself after i get comfortable with it.

Requirements

1. Should not interact with my juices (crack/deteriorate/leech)
2. Should not slide or be leaky
3. Should work well with 100%VG

I was going to go with the Phiniac A PBusardo Review - Phiniac Glass Carto Tanks - YouTube but if you reccomend a different one please do so and let me know why, also if you would be so kind as to provide a link to where to buy it.

Thanks guys!

If you prefer the cartos, try the smoke tech tank systems. They can be found for around $10. The replacement cartos are also inexpensive at $3 each. I used these for quite a while until I switched to the vivi nova system. My preferance is a genesis atyy, but can be finiky and hard to maintain sometimes. Look on youtube. there are some great videos out there with excellent information.

I have a polypro tank from Valley View and it's a workhorse. There haven't been any problems with leaking or cracking (I'm a cinnamon fan, so have killed lots of gear). The Phiniac looks cool, but for glass I've been very happy with IBtanked: https://www.ibtanked.com/ just make sure you get stainless steel caps, since harsh liquids will melt the acrylic ones.

Phiniac makes a solid, well built pyrex tank that is extremely durable, and can also be a piece of artwork too should you decide to go that route. They can be highly customized, limited only by your own imagination. They do tend to be one of the more expensive tanks, though (Prices begin @ $50).

Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

Hoosier Vapes make very functional and beautiful tanks, too. Each one is unique. Standard length tanks are called the Bella; XL length tanks are called Elegance. They recently added quartz glass tubes as an accessory. Also have stainless steel endcaps instead of the acrylic. These carto tanks are unique in that the mouth piece and top cap are one piece, and twists off of the tube for easy juice filling. Also on the expensive side ($50). Google "Hoosier Vapes", as links to the site don't work here.

I combined the endcaps of a Hoosier Vapes Elegance Tank with the pyrex tube of a Phiniac. The tube was customized with colored sandblasting. The juice is the green-colored Ecto Plasma (color has recently been discontinued). This tank is shown below:

IBTanked makes extremely inexpensive but quality pyrex tanks in two diameters and two lengths. Prices begin as low as $20. You can get three of these tanks for the price of a Phiniac. Choice of clear or painted tubes, stainless steel or acrylic endcaps. Juice capacities range from 1.5 - 2ml for the slim tanks, 5 - 8ml for the wider tanks. www.ibtanked.com

Valley View Vapes makes inexpensive pyrex tanks, also. Pyrex line is called the Triple V series. These tanks are wide in diameter (1"). Standard size has a 4ml capacity for $20; XL size has a 7ml capacity for $22. Be sure to order the Premium tanks with the aluminum endcaps. The Sidewinder is also offered; for $28 a juice fill hole is drilled into the side of the tank. http://www.valleyvapes.com/Pyrex-Tanks_c_17.html

the answer to that can be found in another thread i made
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...few-questions-unfortunately-few-problems.html

Thanks for the answers guys keep em comming!

If you like cinnamon, you're stuck with glass, polypro or metal tanks; and the drip tips will melt unless they are metal, glass or ceramic. Many of the clearos are labeled as have an "improved" plastic, that doesn't "leach," but leaching isn't the same as melting - they don't mention that part. ;)

Do you pick your juice color to complement your tanks?

You didn't mention what device (battery) that you use. That info would be helpful.

I use a sleeve too, but the smaller tank one (size D I think) so it doesn't stick out beyond the tank. Here's one of my IBTanks on a 650mAh that I take out with me. It's got a regular 510 black sleeve on it just for looks.

do you think my sleeve would be flush with any of the IBT tanks?

I have the 19mm tanks (like the one pictured). The smaller sleeve is flush eGo Thread Sleeve Type D Small Tank - Fits All Std eGos CHROME [gv-egoTYPED-SmallTankeGoThreadSl] - $2.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more The one you have is a little wider. The one that's in the picture is actually a little narrow, I was just using it for looks. I found a type D in black, but I don't want to order just that with the cost of shipping.

ETA: I also have a Type C cover like you do. I just checked and it's flush with my polypro tank: http://www.valleyvapes.com/Triple-V-Jumbo--5ml-Tank_p_29.html

No, not actually. I did realize that the green liquid would compliment the gold designs on the tank, though. ;) It happened to be on the list of flavors that crack/melt juices, so it was a logical choice to put this flavor in a pyrex tank.

Juicey Vapor just announced that they were doing away with the food coloring in all of their juices, so I may need to put my Mad Murdock's Radiator Pluid in this tank when the Ecto Plasma runs out.

Considering what I used to put in my lungs when I smoked, vaping food coloring doesn't bother me (some of it is pg based too). I just haven't found the right set-up that would be enhanced with a colored juice.
Since Juicy Vapor was one of the few companies using food coloring, their decision has really limited the number of juices that are still colored. The only one that know for sure is the Pluid, which is an even greener green than ecto plasma was. The creator of that juice is reportedly coming out with another juice soon called Agent Orange. I gather you can tell from the name what color it will be.

2 questions
1st: is there a pyrex tank that works with the Type C sleeve i have? i kinda want a pyrex one, for some reason juice in anything plastic makes me wonder if it will deteriorate both the juice or the tank
2nd: how the heck do i put a signature in my acct? i checked for the sig option couldent find it? (stupid question i know)
