you can use the CE2 on a 510 as well but warning once you go LR a regular atty will not ever be as good for you
i started with LR 510 joye atties but i was blowing them in a week or 2 then i went with a cisco LR306 iv had this one for well about 2 months so i would go straight to the cisco LR atty from happy vaper , i also recommend grabbing an ego passthrough battery if you do go with the ego , i love mine but now im upgrading to an ali'i which i hope will be my last upgrade cause its imo the ultimate e-cig

A lot of good info on this thread...I'm just a week in and I promised myself I wouldn't look into any more PV's for atleast 6 months, but I just had to see this Ali'i that everyone has been talking about. Let me just say WOW!!! I must restrain myself!!

In the mean time I have a few things to add to my next HV order, despite mixed reviews, I want try the CE2's, and the cisco LR306 atty (drip tips out of stock :( ), just wondering if it makes any difference to use these with a mega ego 900 mAh or a regular 650 mAH?

i think ou should give 306 a go any way , just get one with a drip tip , even in standard resistance they blow the 510 atty under the bus

OK, this may be a dumb question (I really don't understand what all these numbers mean still, I thought it was the size of the threads?), but what is the difference between a standard 306 and a standard 510 atty? Flavor, temperature, longer lasting...?

the atomizer itself is designed differently the 306 is for a different model e-cig that looks similar to a 510 it just happens to fit the 510 also , if you look up pictures of each you can clearly see the difference ,
a 510 atty has the hot part and the bridge recessed in a tube where the 306 has the bridge completely exposed there is no tube , if that makes sense , the drip tip slides over the whole atty assembly rather than into the atty casing like a 510
the 306 seems to burn a little hotter so u can take smaller puffs and get the same effect of a longer puff which is easier on your batteries and atomizer i believe , as far as the LR part once you go LR it stimulates using a normal atty on a 5v device so it will burn even hotter give better throat hit and allow you to take smaller puffs more like a analog , i find that they make the flavor better too , the 306 happens to give me better flavor than the 510 in both regular and LR ,as far as the ego bat you use i assume the 900 will be better than the 650 but they say as long as its over 420mah its ok , they do drain your batteries a bit faster , but i dont feel this makes a big difference cause your taking smaller puffs to , im not an expert so dont quote me on this stuff its just kinda what ive found works good , as far as the difference between a joye LR306 and a cisco LR306 i feel the quality of the cisco is much better but i have only really used the joye 306 a couple times, from what i have heard the cisco one is made by someone here on the forum named cisco and he searched for better metals or something of that nature

I am waiting for the ikenvape 306 atties to come in. I hear they are better then the cisco and do not run as hot.

I was late jumping on that band wagon. Like many I sit and wait. How can something that has been out since the early beginnings be forgotten for so long. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ikenvape/134758-review-ikv-lr-hv-306-atties-lost-gem.html I have not tried the Ciscos. I have been spoiled like many others at IkenVape. All my attys and cartos come from there now. You will be pleased.

I resisted ordering from the US for as long as I could, but there are some things you can't buy here yet. Shipping time isn't too bad and I had one package arrive from there faster than my current juice order that's been collecting dust at Canada Post for the past week for no apparent reason. But if the hardware you buy is high quality you won't have to order very often.

Most people seem to be suggesting eGo's but if you really want to upgrade you should go for a battery mod. The batteries tend to be cheaper, last longer and handle LR atty's the best. I personally have a REO Mini which is awesome since it completely takes the hassle out of vaping. The atty stays wet with a simple squeeze every now and then, no flooding, and I just refill the bottle and change the battery once a day. To Canada, it was $152 shipped and arrived in a week. There are tons of other mods out there too for different tastes, though some like the REO are in short supply.

For atty's, I was going to order from Ikenvape but he's almost all sold out of the LR's which is sad. I'll order from him next time. I ended up ordering stealth adapters and 510, 801, 901, 306 Cisco spec 2.0 Ohm low resistance atomizers from Cisco's new storefront, Avid Vaper : Electronic Cigarettes, E-Liquid and Accessories . These might actually work better on the eGo and they're the same resistance as Ikenvape's atty's. I only have experience with the Cisco LR306 1.5 ohm, but there's a lot less sucking just click the button and the vapor just fills your mouth with a gentle draw.

Can you use a LR Atty on a 510? I don't have an Ego but do have an LR atty. I only use 510 equipment at this time!

Danesnpits dear, definitely not. I mean you could, but it would kill your 510...they're just not rated for each other. I'm not even willing to risk it on the Mega eGo. Once our beautiful new ProVari gets here...then we can give 'em a whirl.

Sorry!

It was a free gift from Planet-Vapor - Discount E-Cigarettes, Parts and Accessories. Specializing in Custom Joye eGo Starter Kits.

I just saw on the site, not to be used with 510 batteries!

Discount 1.5ohm Low Resistance Atomizer for Joye 510 | Planet-Vapor - Discount E-Cigarettes, Parts and Accessories. Specializing in Custom Joye eGo Starter Kits.

I guess that would explain why my 510 auto batt got so hot that I burned my mouth and my fingers. And the damn battery would not turn off either. I had to manually unscrew it from the atty cuz the lil blue light on the end of my black auto 510 batt was glowing and glowing and sizzling and glowing. OMG!!:ohmy:8-o

That's exactly what happened to my 510 batteries that died! Except mine didn't get hot, just the light stayed on.
