Hi. bought the blu starter pack today and the thing has no hope of keeping up with me. Right now I smoke 2-3 packs a day. Work two jobs, constantly going. I really like the small size of the blu, and the concept of the pack but Im realizing that probably isn't going to work. I did like the flavor. Im looking for something as small as practical, conservative looking, convenient, that can keep up with my chainsmoking habit and the fact Im never home.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A good e-Go setup like a 1100 mAh or a vision spinner 1300mah will last you all day and with a good tank like a Protank 2 or maybe a Iclear30 You will get a good vape and you can use all kinds of flavors that you might be interested in. That will do allot better for you than a Blu. Cig-A-Likes don't cut the cheese for most people starting out, some like it and some don't.

Hmm as for the chain smoke part i wouldnt recommend a eroll or such.. Looks very subtle but the battery life might let u down.

Would go for the ego type batts to keep it subtle. Good thing theres a wide variety of batteries and devices that might suit ur need.

As for u being on the move something with replacable batts might be an idea or a massive battery. Maybe a innokin MVP or a VTR might be worth looking into.

A trip to a local vape shop with a good range of devices to try out might be in order ;)

I started with blu's when they first hit the market (online only sales). Lasted about a month. Went out one night and did some heavy drinking and the blu's had no chance. Back to cigs i went. Got a provari and have been analog free for 7 months with no interest of going back. The first two weeks were kinda rough and i chain vaped like crazy. After those two weeks though i was fine. The big thing for me was finding a juice that i really liked. Ill let the more knowledgeable chime in on what may work for u as far as cigalike kits go.

I've never tried the cigalikes but I started with the Innokin itaste vv v3 with iClear 16's. Then you'd need to get e-juice. I started with Mount Baker Vapor since they're reasonably priced with good flavors. The VV V3 is fairly small and fits in my pocket. The only issue would be battery life as it lasts almost all day(though it charges by USB and you can vape while it charges). The MVP 2.0 is basically the same thing but in box form and lasts twice as long. From what I understand the cigalikes are gonna be more costly overall with less flavor options.

Welcome to the ECF

and good luck with your unicorn hunt

just joking, but you will need to go a little larger than the BLU (what we normally call a cigalike or stick battery) with an ego style battery and carry multiple batteries with clearos on them.

I chain vape on some days and 3400 mah will not quite cover it for a full day (lights on to lights out - this is with a full size mod with an 18650 battery - about 3/4 inch across and 7 1/2 inches tall and 7 ounces in weight - including a protank) and I go through about 7-9ml of eliquid in that time (a BLU cartridge holds about 1ml or so)

so if the BLU is working for you size and flavor wise then I recommend getting about 8 or so batteries and a slew of cartridges (BLU is proprietory so ONLY BLU cartos work on them aka involuntary brand loyalty)

otherwise look at some of the ego kits available and possibly the mods (don't balk at pricing - calculate what you spend in a month on 3 packs of cigs a day)

hope this helps

I agree with this. If possible check out the VTR or MVP2.0 at a store, then buy it online if you like either. The VTR can use 18650 batteries so you can swap them out when needed. Good batteries aren't that expensive, just under $10 each. The MVP has a built in battery but some people say it lasts them all day.

If you're a heavy smoker like you describe, I don't think any of the eGo style batteries will satisfy your all day cravings. I doubt one would last you all day and then you have to re charge it or buy several of them. I think carrying a case made to fit four 18650 and a good pv would be a better investment than any eGo.

I would also start vaping 24mg or 18mg nicotine juice to satisfy the cravings. I smoked a little over half a pack a day and 12mg nicotine just didn't cut it when I started out. 18mg was good for me, just taking a guess you might want lil more.

These are just my opinions. Everyone finds a way, best of luck friend!

My recommendation - Innokin itaste MVP 2 - can be had for $42-$60 range online - can handle chain vaping all day.
No carrying around extra batteries/unique charger.

Charges via miniUSB. Heck you can even charge your cell phone from its USB output port.

Solid self contained system.

I agree with this suggestion. The MVP 2 is about the size of what I would call a "narrow, somewhat fat" cell phone. If you get it in black, with a smaller topper/tank, like an Evod, it will look very conservative. The battery life is awesome, easily all day without a charge, and maybe more.

Thanks for the suggestions. I went down to my local shop. Bought an EVOD T with two 650 batteries. Thanks guys.

Thank goodness. You wouldn't have wanted to do what I did.... which was to continue buying £100s of cig-a-like batteries and expensive cartomisers believing the hype.
