HEY! Hope it's going better this morning! My lessons in 3 months:
1) I've used both of your set ups. I use my mini and istick pretty much all of the time now, but if you are more comfortable with the evod for now, use it! You're still getting used to coils and vv and vw and it's a lot to take in on top of the stresses of quitting. Do whatever makes you comfortable. Maybe revisit your mini in a week. Or just toy with it when you're bored. Even after vaping for two months on an evod and ego, the learning curve for the mini was short and steep. It's a vacuum system, it's a little bit more difficult than the evod. It can be your new BFF once you get a hang of it, but if the evod is more satisfying just use that. Do what works for you. (also, if you grab a 510 adapter, the evod tank fits on an istick. which might help you get a feel for the vw on the istick without dealing with the mini's temperamental side)
2) If you slip up and have a cigarette, don't worry about it! A TON of people on this forum dual used. Hell, it took me two months to stop turning to cigarettes when my stress levels peaked. Nothing like blowing your car's transmission a month after you quit smoking. I chain smoked a whole pack in one day. It happens. When it does, count it as a stumble, NOT a fall. Go back to vaping. For every smoke you have, how many others have you skipped? Count those, not the ones you have.
3) Drink water. As much as you can. And then some more. You're going to be dehydrated. Especially chain vaping.
4) Remember, nicotine in a cigarette hits your brain FAST. Nicotine from a vape can take up to an HOUR to have the same effects.
It's not going to be an easy journey, but you've taken the first steps. And that is something to be proud of!
