What do suppliers use for throat hit?

I have a question regarding throat hit. What do suppliers use for the throat hit and what is the safest ingredients for a throat hit? Just curious? I see that some use pure grain alcohol. Is that common? Enlighten me please for I have no clue!

i have no idea what suppliers use, other than generally a higher nic content will give you more th. i've used pga with decent success, depends on the juice.

I know of one that uses a type of pepper for his. Burns like crazy...can't stand it

TW is really peppery and I quit using it because everything started tasting the same to me even though I got a TH I got tired of it.
