Good morning all.

This is something that never actually occured to me before but now I wonder, what vaping supplies do we all carry when we go to work for instance to make sure we aren't reaching for the stinky sticks and we have enough to vape all day?

Reason being, this morning I dropped my little boy off at Grandma's house only to find she was sitting in darkness since the power was off, after finding out it had been off since yesterday afternoon and wasn't expected to be back on for a fair few hours she admitted that she had ran all her batteries down (she started vaping at the same time as me) and was unable to charge them. Since we have the same batteries I left her one of mine, fully charged so she would be able to vape till her power comes back on and she charges her own. Good idea, or so I thought. When I got to work I get the awful realisation that I now have no spare battery with me, just the one that will, itself need charging at some point during the day, thankfully I do have my pcc with me (mine holds my filled cartos too, all in a nice neat place) so I can charge on the go but I have nothing to vape while it charges, AARRGGHH, I'm now trying to vape a pen.

I have already earmaked the fact I need more of everything when I next get paid but how much more, I have no idea.

I currently have 3 x KR808D batteries (2 for with me and one spare for if one fails) and use cartomizers (normally have 5 with me of various flavours) and my pcc, at home I have the starts of what is turning into quite a selection of juice, lots of cartos and my main charging set up. I'm just 2 weeks in and analogue free but know I need more.

One thing that may help is to get yourself a car charger adapter. That way if you ever need to, you can charge batteries in your car. I always had one when I first started out even though I never needed to use it. It was just the security of knowing I was covered.

You didn't mention whether you fill your own cartos. Even if you don't, make sure you have some extra juice around to refill your used cartos just in case you end up in between orders.

The biggest rule of thumb when it comes to vaping is you can never have too much. Make sure you have double the equipment you would need for a typical day. If you use 2 batteries/day, make sure you have at least four. Two chargers and an alternate power supply. Lots of blank cartos or atties and 2 weeks worth of juice...

And, congratulations on making the switch and staying smoke free!!

WELCOME TO THE ECF

It sounds like you need a better e-cig then what you currently have. KR-808 kits are good to have when you first begin or take with you when your going out. Like in bars and such. On the other hand, for a person that vapes a lot then it's better to have a 900 - 1100 mah battery that will last you 5-12 hrs (depending on usage) without needing a charge. Kits give you two of them which maximizes use to 10 - 24 hrs.

Which is all that a person needs for a day. Another option is to get more 808 batts or a car charger like mentioned above. Here are some good big batt kits to consider:

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo *20% discount on upper left. Click on this BEFORE you order
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510
KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit *Personal favorite out of the three

Here's a good site for cartomizers. FREE shipping and gifts with the 15 carto deals. I would recommend Boge 2.0 cartos or 1.7 resurrectors:

Crystal Clear Vaping

Hope that helps

And for what I take on the go, when going to work I take my buzzpro with backup batteries and when need to ( stealth ) my ego and I have a small case I keep a few filled cartos of different flavors and a small bottle of my fav juice to keep topped off, but when out with the wife or around town I just take my ego with a extra filled carto. Thanks for the tips guys and gals. The 808s are working fine for me, I like the size and weight but wish the batteries would last a little longer, I don't want to upgrade just yet but fear I will have to in a month or so. I like the ease of use of cartos, the ones I have seem to last ages (one has been used as my main day vape and refilled for almost 2 weeks and still tastes as good as when I started)

Just wondering, What set up do you have Otrpu?

No problem Spider, glad I could help. It's really one, if not the best carto deals out there. Plus, they're guaranteed to work and if not, then return it and they'll send you replacements.

For all day I take either my Buzz Pro a couple of Volt batteries or a bottom feeder box mod. With the box mod one bottle of juice does me and if it's one of the other two 2 filled CE2s last me all day.

If it's going to be for more than a day, like a weekend outing I've got a vv that uses 2 18650s which last me 3 or more days without charging, I just make sure I've got enough cartos filled before I leave.

Remember you don't have to upgrade if you don't want to or aren't ready to - most people here suggest something much larger because like me they started where you are and wish they started bigger than they did. However they tend to forget sometimes that just coming off analogs some people don't want to look like they are doing something different to smoking.. As for the battery life it's correct that you just can't pack much more into that size of battery right now so if you are happy where you are i'd just suggest grabbing another couple of batteries and rotate their usage .. The car charger i wouldn't really bother with myself as work is only a few minutes away and my batteries take 2-3 hours to charge so not really worth it for me ..

When i go out or to work i carry my eGo a spare battery at least two different juice flavours a spare atomizer a fresh dry cart and my usb charger (just incase) that way i think i'm pretty much covered for anything i can think of happening :)

808's are fine units if you enjoy 3.7v, people with giant battery mods (especially those that don't easily support tank systems) still have to carry around extra cartomizers and/or bottles of juice. No point have 2000+ mah if you only have 2ml of juice on you after all.

My daily work kit probably includes more than I actually need -- but I like to be prepared. To start with, I do have a spare eGo charger hooked up to my work computer, so if my eGos do run down I can charge at my desk. Apart from that, my daily kit includes:

2 extra large eGo zipper cases. (The ProVari fits nice and snug in one of the elastic straps)

Case 1: 3-5 prefilled Fluxomizers, 1-2 spare new Fluxomizers, tweezer kit (for modding the new fluxos if I open one; I have a knife at work), bent precision screwdriver (also for modding and removing the O-ring to fill), spare 18650, spare eGo LCD battery (I prefer these as they run at a true 3.7V), spare 510 atomizer, spare drip tip

Case 2: 6 5-10ml bottles of juice (depending on what I've got mixed up at the time and what I feel like I might want to vape)

Pocket: eGo LCD, assembled; ProVari, assembled, both with Fluxos and drip tips attached.

So, basically, 3 devices and a spare charged battery for my ProVari and enough juice to last longer than the batteries will.

ProVari with a full carto (in hand) and let's see.... Looking in the case -

1 1100 MAh eGo Passthru Battery, charged
1 18650 battery, charged
3 10ml bottles of juice, 1 tobac-ish, 1 fruit, 1 desert
6 carto's (filled with various stuff)
2 empty carto's
Q-Tips
MicroFiber cloth
Spare drip tip

Wow, when you list it all out like that, kinda looks... obsessive. :D
