What do you call it??

Do you say "I'm going to vape. Take a toot. Take a drag. Take a hit"

Just wondering what others out there call it.

Personally, I tend to say things like, I'm going to take a hit or drag. I guess I'm still using analog terminology ha ha ha!

In what situation?
I don't really say anything and just hit it. If people ask about it I explain it.
But I usually say vape though.

I dont generally have to talk about it...

At home I was "outside"... at work I was "getting coffee"... when alone I was "having a smoke"

Now- at home I'm "at home" because my kids don't know the difference and my wife is elated I quit cigarettes... at work I''m "at work" because whether its in the bathroom, the office, or my classroom no one knows what I'm doing unless they see me... and when alone I'm "trying another flavor" because unlike cigarettes, vaping is actually pleasurable due to the Nic hit combined with great taste and no stink unlike stinkies when it was getting my coat and shoes on so I could venture out in 10 degree weather to "enjoy" a smoke...

Vape away- whatever you call it it's better than what you were doing so if someone has a comment- set them straight!

I don't usually announce when I am going to vape either, but I'm sure the situation arises every now and then that you would explain what you are doing. Only asking to see what terms others use. Here where I live people tend to use the same terms as they would for analogs ex. Take a drag, take a puff whatnot...

Maybe refering the the act of inhaling vapor produced by an electronic ciggarette is just a California thing?

It bothers me when people say "toot". lol GrimmGreen does it all the time in his videos. I'd much rather hear "take a toke" or "hit it".

Anywhere else: I am using this highly technological advancement in the era of electrical nicotine inhalation devices. Haha jk just tell people I'm vaping.

Grimm cracks me up! When my children were little, I taught them to say "toot" instead of "fart", so little farts are what I always think of when he says toot!
I just say variations of the word "vape". For me, vaping has nothing to do with smoking and I take pains to not use any words that are associated with my old bad habit.

I know what you mean. I don't like associating vaping with smoking, but I find myself using similar terms. Like
"I'll go outside with you so you can smoke while I take some hits/drags/puffs from the vape"
