I see lots of people start out with cigalikes or whatever you want to call them with starter kits like I did, but after you step up to mods and whatever else is in between how do you get your fix when not at home and not wanting to carry your setup around with you? I was thinking about getting a triton tank system just because it seems to be an easy step up into the tanks but would they be considered portable?

Or would you just get some blank cartomizers and fill them with your favorite juice to puff on throughout the day?

Once you step up to the bigger ego things the cigarette look a likes are pretty much gone and forgotten forever?

Most people, after they've been around these forums for a while, move away from the cig-a-likes. Ego twists and Vision spinners could be a way to go, then you could step up to a better APV once you get some more research done about mods and stuff.

A couple of hardware vendors I like...

The Innokin MVP2 is a great box mod with long battery life. I get 2 days of vaping on a single charge. I use tanks on mine, Protank, Aspire or Davide.

This. ^^ The MVP2 is a great mod that goes for days on a charge. It's reliable and much better at providing a fix than is an Ego. Well, as far as the power/hit is concerned. It is probably the highest quality you can get for the price. I have a Provari but my MVP2 is always with me. Throw on a Protank or something similar full of juice and you are good. No need to carry extra batteries or juice.

I did the cigalikes for about two weeks and was immediately frustrated with the poor battery life and limitations of the cartomizers. I skipped the ego batteries altogether and I moved up to an AltSmoke BB and Silver Bullet. The BB was small enough for when I was out of the house, and the big battery Silver Bullet gave me 20 hours between battery changes when at home. Cartotanks gave me the juice capacity to last 1 - 2 days between refills.

I moved on to a Provari for variable voltage and battery regulation. Best battery device I've found yet, it's been worth every penny. The Mini Provari and a cartotank fit easily in a front pants pocket when on the go.

When I want to go REAL small and stealth vape at the cinema, I use a Smoktech mechanical Gripper. It was extremely cost efficient ($10 at Mad Vapes). It uses an 18350 battery for several hours of vape time.

2 days?? I get 5-7 days of vaping on mine. That's pretty continuous vaping as well for a full 8 hour shift (I sell vapes), plus vaping at home. What voltage/wattage do you run on?
