Hi everyone. I started vaping about 2 weeks ago. Got a starter kit from Volt, and I fell in love. My Volt is awesome, but I think I am outgrowing it.

Problem is, I have tons of flavors I want to use, but I only have a certain amour of carts for them to go into. I can order more blanks, but it gets confusing after a while...what cart has what flavor?

What is the deal with tank vaporizers? Do you just fill the tank with whatever an ape away? Which is the best one? Are they reliable?

Maybe I am looking to go the wrong route. Is there a better solution to this problem? Just getting tired of tons of carts and not being able to use all of my flavors.

get some atomizers, at least a couple to test flavors by dripping, that way, when you can just relax and vape you can drip the flavors and have an enjoyable vape.
If you like certain flavors more, then you cart or carto them up.
Thats what i do.
Hell, i still drip flavors i have carto'd up though because sometimes i just prefer the flavor dripping provides when i am at home.
I wouldn't go the tank route, well, i started there in a sense, and i have since moved to cartomizers and dripping.
The system in theory rocks, but it for some reason just doesn't work. Also, potential for juice leakage is high.

If you want to step up, there are several options in the 510 threading category that with proper research you can find a good deal on, depending on how much you want to spend/put into it

edit, also, welcome to the forum

Vapor4Life sells colored cartomizers for KR808D-1 - I use their hotter WOW cartos on my Volt battery.
If you bought manual Volt batteries (sealed on the threaded end) you can use a standard resistance DSE901 atomizer and 901 drip tip on your battery. You can label your cartomizers with paint pens or whatever you want.

Tanks - a lot of people have issue with them such as leaking and lack of flavor. You can buy an Ego-T and try it - they are good batteries and you could always use cartomizers on them, but you will not find colors in decent 510 cartomizer blanks. Riva 510 SE from Liberty-Flights.com is a bit higher voltage than Ego (about as much as Volt which is 3.7 volts, while Ego is 3.4 volts). You can also buy mods, generally 510 threaded in 3.7v (same volts and Volt), variable voltage, high voltage (I recommend variable over high). You can buy bottom feeders that hold a juice bottle.

Personally, I find cartos are very nice. They keep your favorite flavors separate. you don't have to deal with or clean an atomizer as much since you use one less. The issue usually comes down to testing juices by dripping on an atomize (standard resistance DSE901 atty on a Volt manual battery), only putting juices you love in cartos, dripping the other ones you like to vape occasionally. And figure out how you want to label your cartos. For the volts you could get a couple of the multicolor packs of WOW cartos from Vapor4Life and the colors may remind you what's in your carto. Or label them.

Hi Vermi, my first post here too! Got to start somewhere? I'm like you and am worried about being organized enough to stick it out for long haul - so much easier to just light a cigga!

I'm a little disappointed to hear that you are ready to move on from the Volt because I considered that to be my next move for out and about! Looking at your join date you would have been reading up on ecigs back at the same time as me. I went with the hype back then and failed - 3 piece 501 and 801 battery/atty/cart setup. Nothing but burnt taste, headaches and total frustration. I dragged all that gear back out recently to give it another try. So, I went on from there and tried the cartomizers, 2 piece setup as you have now, and I think it's great. I wouldn't go with the tanks even though I haven't tried them, just because you will have to deal with all the fussing around with cleaning the attys and that was the biggest detraction for me back then. But, after saying that, I can now understand why others are saying to use the dripping into the atty method of trying out new flavours. I was too scared to try dripping until recently and it really does work! Then again, I already had the attys anyway. I bought ego batteries and cartomizers this time but can still use the old atomizers for dripping and trying out new flavours. Early days yet but looking forward to trying everything else - well maybe not everything!

You might be better off just buying an atty or two for your kr808-1 batteries rather than buying a whole new tank kit, I don't know, but I can't see the tanks solving your problem. Either way you just need to find something easy to try out different flavours and dripping a few drops into an atty seems the way to go.

Don't know about the best atomizers for an DSE901 since I've never bought them but as far as drip tips go i'm pretty sure 510 drip tips will fit 901 atty's. :) Drip Tips:

510

Drip Tips | E-cigarettes | 510 | 306 | Cherry Vape | Pawn | Cannon

Mods - Drip Tips

EDIT* If you're on a budget check out the last link. Delrin tips for extra cheap. If you wanna go with something nice and dont mind spending a few $'s check out the other 2 links. You can even make your own Drip tips from blank cartridges if you're really hurting cash wise. Just search "Homemade drip tips" on Youtube.

The styles like "Delrin/ Anodized etc." are really just about preference. Same with the whole Type A,B,C,D etc. Pretty much just what you prefer for the width of your tip.

I'd order an ego from liberty flights. You might like having a bigger battery and you can test juice on the atty. You can get an adaptor from Good Prophets for about $1.50 and use your Kr808 cartos on the ego or pick up a box of boge 2.0 cartos.

I'm not a fan of tanks but you can pick up a tank and tank atty for the ego pretty cheap.
