I drive a hunk of plastic crap 97 Kia Sephia that I paid cash for several years ago. It's still holding on with some superglue and a prayer. I used to LOVE the cars that I drove but finances in the last few years have left me with what I have now. It gets me to work and back and is a little like a roller coaster since it has no shocks and I drive the pot holed LA streets.

When things look up again and I take care of some other priorities, I'd love to get back behind the wheel of some German engineering again :)

'84 Mercedes-Benz 300SD turbodiesel, converted to run waste cooking oil as well as diesel. Mint condition inside and out, white with tan hides.

I get 30 to the gallon in the city out of a big car. It's like driving a tank.
It's not a very expensive car but I like it more than I would a new S class. If you pop the hood, there is no plastic.

what do you drive (pic if possible) and what would you rather drive if you had the money?

CURRENT = 2005 Lotus (see profile pic)

ALTERNATE = I would like to keep the current and add a 1969 Camaro RS/SS.... some day i will be able to afford it... i hope

There are a couple places on the east coast of florida where you can buy a 'brand new' 69z/rs/ss for about 40k. New fiberglass body and all, ready to go.

Yet another car veto'd by the mrs she hated driving the older model M3 we traded in so had a preconception about the new one:rolleyes:

Just seen your avatar do you also collect watches?

That's a bummer man, seriously...I had an 04' M3 prior to picking up the new one, totally different animal really. Much more tame when you want her to be. Did you take her for a test drive at least?

As for the watches, I dabble here and there. I've got a decent collection that I try to add to annually. My avatar is my most recent addition; Gents sized Omega Seamaster Professional, Co-Axial movement of course :)
