nice lotus...and good choice Surf Monkey :thumb:

I drive an '03 Subaru Impreza WRX wagon, Sonic Yellow, partially modded, with a pile of parts in the garage waiting for a couple more parts to be rady for an install week

with more money, I'd do a tranny and motor swap in this and buy a clean looking beater for crappy weather

Yeah, you can't go wrong with the early to mid '00s WRXs. They're all great. The only thing that bugs me about the '05 is the fact that they redesigned the headlights. I don't like the "wooshy" looking ones as much as the previous round lights. Aside from that, it's just an amazingly solid and fun car to drive. Really fast too. It's practically as quick as my brother's 911.

Exactly, I had an '02 wrx sedan before this.....love the 'bugeyes', that's why I didn't buy a newer one this time around. Of course, the 2.5 engine in a newer one would be nice :|

That's a bummer man, seriously...I had an 04' M3 prior to picking up the new one, totally different animal really. Much more tame when you want her to be. Did you take her for a test drive at least?

As for the watches, I dabble here and there. I've got a decent collection that I try to add to annually. My avatar is my most recent addition; Gents sized Omega Seamaster Professional, Co-Axial movement of course :)

It may have been the test drive that put her off a little  fantastic car i've put a diff in the 335 and tuned it a little up to 360, Nice watch I'm the same try to add one each year although some take a little longer to save for :D

Wow, almost afraid to answer... all these fancy cars... lol.

I drive a '79 Dodge B200 Shorty van that I'm doing a retro-ish 70's restore on. It sports a 360 2bbl in it. Not quite fuel efficient but great for road trips and camping and gear hauling. Sadly, gonna take a bit to save up for the paint job I wanna do.

If had the money and storage, then a '71 Olds 442 convertible is tops on my list.

Who needs 4 wheels. No car here. Just a Suzuki GSF600S Bandit. But I generally rent Pontiac G6's during the 4 days a year that it rains here (Santa Monica, CA).

I used to love motorcycles. I had a Honda 350 for years and then a Yamaha XS-1100 Special. All told I rode bikes almost constantly for about a dozen years. But I had to give it up because I saw too many of my friends maimed and or killed on bikes. It doesn't matter how good a rider you are, the chances of being mortally wounded on a bike are astronomical compared to those one faces behind the wheel of a car. It stopped being worth the risk. Fun, but ultimately too dangerous.

if i had money's .... i would luvvvvvvvvvv to buy a beater of a 69 camero and re build it from the frame up .. drool ...

The window is closing fast. Back when I was in high school you could get a late '60s Camero for a song. Now even the ugly mid '70s models are starting to appreciate in value rapidly.

I am holding out for a particular 1969 Camaro. My grandparents bought a 69 NEW in 1969 and it is still grandma's daily driver.... I have made it abuldantly clear that i want it when they choose to let her go.

aside from that I also have gone through a number of 1970 Camaro's and Trams Am's as race cars for our local circle track....

I drive a white '92 Lincoln Mk 7 LSC with a ridiculous white interior. It's an old-man's car that the law seems to look right through as if someone driving it couldn't possibly be doing anything wrong. I've always thought that cars that hardly ever get anybody in the back seat don't need four doors.

The flip side of driving an old Lincoln is that a certain percentage of the motoring public assume that it's not moving (regardless of whatever forward speed) and feel a duty to pass it as soon as possible. :D
