Sounds interesting. Im so tired of fruits and tobaccos Im just glad there's somebody trying to be creative with juices again.
Salt is sodium chloride.if I remember right salt decomposes when heated & can turn into sodium chloride.
I believe that post may have been aimed at me. The melting point of salt is in the 800c range, which a normal ecig does not get to be unless it is being dry burned. I should have been more accurate in my statement. It could make gunk removal problematic rather than specifically causing gunkingSalt is sodium chloride.![]()

any salt flavoring is going to be salt dissolved in water. there is no real salt substitute i know of. ecigs are all about evaporation. the whole point is the boiling of eliquid. this means there are going salt deposits on the coil.I believe they said they using some kind of salt flavoring, not salt
I have no idea but what youre saying follows reason. I'm interested in the caramel pretzel one ill let you know how it vapes when they let it goany salt flavoring is going to be salt dissolved in water. there is no real salt substitute i know of. ecigs are all about evaporation. the whole point is the boiling of eliquid. this means there are going salt deposits on the coil.
Thought you might be interested, this is the answer they gave me:any salt flavoring is going to be salt dissolved in water. there is no real salt substitute i know of. ecigs are all about evaporation. the whole point is the boiling of eliquid. this means there are going salt deposits on the coil.
could be its not much of a problem thenThought you might be interested, this is the answer they gave me:
"Hello Altaire Versailles, thank you for the great question…as this is relatively new to the industry. After extensive research over the past 18-24 months, and since we are able to develop our liquids from the molecule up, we were able to safely utilize the chemical formula of sea salt (NaCl) in trace amounts to enhance flavor. After personally going through about half a bottle, I can happily say my cotton / coil is cleaner than most liquids I have gone through =)"
I'm by no means a scientist, I'm just saying I don't think it's a good pairing w/ my already-laden-with-chemicals flavorings.Salt is sodium chloride.![]()
That's what I'm thinking. After vaping it all night i can totally taste the salt on my tongue now but it's so hidden is barely there. Coils are still clean though from what i can see and this is on dual Claptons.I would imaging that salt would eventually be corrosive to metal. What am i thinking, salt IS corrosive to metal. If these juices have salt, the reason you cant taste it is probably in such a small amount as not to be immediately corrosive to the metal in the coils.
