Hey guys I'm pretty new to vaping and joined this site after receiving my Blu in the mail. I started using it and found it nice. I like the black batteries and filter look with the blue LED and the charging case but I find it wanting compared to what I see and hear and today it's been a pain in the ... to get any vaping going on with it and get any flavor.

I was thinking of switching to a Joye 510 since I haven't really heard anything bad about it on youtube and around the net. I also plan on getting the charging case, the PCC I guess it's called as well. I was also thinking of getting my friend a DSE601 E-Pipe for his birthday.

I wanted to know what you guys think of that since you know a lot more about vaping and a lot of you probably actually have personal experience with these products.

First, congratulations on discovering vaping, and good going on doing research ... beware, this could become an obsession, or at very least a great hobby.

IMO, if you're seriously considering the 510 route, skip the standard 510 PV and get the eGo, also sold under other names ... notably the Tornado. Same atomizer, much longer battery life. And, it looks elegant.

Oh, also available for the eGo/Tornado ... Mega Cartomizers and Mega Atomizers. Very nice.

I also started with Blu, which was a disappointment. Fortunately, I returned the kit within the 30-day return period and got a refund.

Now I have a dual Joye eGo kit, and happy as a clam!

Welcome to the forum! I agree with the eGo recommendations.

As for your friend's e-pipe, I don't really know as much about those. Have however seen some posts talking about the attys on them (basically the bowl). Attys do go out... some quickly, some after months. The pipe's attys are a wee bit pricey compared to a reg 510. Might want to do a search or two on it.

You don't really need a PCC for the eGo. I've had my eGo for a week now, and I've had to switch batteries a whopping once so far. (And yes, I'm 90%+ off of analogs.)

So far, I have only ordered from Cignot, and while I'm certain there are many other places out there that are also wonderful, I can only say for certain that they are.

Not to my knowledge. But, a fully charged XL lasts me 14 hours of moderate vaping. And, you could buy an extra battery for the price of a PCC.

Heavy vapor here (2+ PAD)... with a regular eGo I have to change batteries once a day. That's with chain vaping most of the time.

Cignot... WordUpecig... there are several! Shop around and you should get a good deal.

StDoodle recommended cignot. I've bought from them. There are a number of other vendors. jantyusa and totallywicked-eliquid are up front. Janty is a great vendor, but they seem to have a hard time keeping inventory. Try both, and see what appeals to you. Then there's Google.

I, too, am new to vaping, and started out with the Blu brand. I hate it and intend to return it. I am also interested in what you experienced vapers would recommend. The Blu does not produce much vapor and is hit or miss whether it will work at all. I am on Chantix and using the 0mg cartridges. What I miss is inhaling the smoke into my lungs (terrible, I know) and was wondering what you would recommend to most closely imitate a real cigarette as far as the feeling of inhaling smoke.

tgcrna: In my opinion, the device you're looking for will in no way resemble a traditional cigarette. It's not possible today to pack enough energy into such a small package and still deliver a good vaping experience. The KR808-d1 looks more like a ball point pen than it does a cigarette. The Tornado/eGo more closely resembles a cigar (at a distance).

Get a Tornado, with Mega Barrel Cartridge, and/or Mega atomizer. You won't regret it.
