Even tho i dont have the ProVari V2 yet (in shipping que) im pretty certain its going to live up to my expectations and with the tank and everything its going to be good to use in the car (drive alot every day), at the office, at home basicly anywhere i wanna just chain smoke it. But im kinda worried i will be "embarrassed" to pull the rig out lets say when i go to a club or something.

I guess a clearomizer (was that right?) would make it look a bit smaller, and rest is kinda in ur hand..

Do you guys bring your normal rig with tank to a "night out on town" or do you use some other smaller tweaks / devices for such events?

I use my black (and blue) Provari with extension cap, black liquinator tank, and black drip-tip. I always get asked multiple times whenever I go out what it is that I'm holding.

Something a little smaller would be a little more convenient (especially during the summertime when I have to resort to putting it in the pocket of my jeans . . . which can be a little tight) but I can't imagine using something else and enjoying it as much.

Maybe a smaller VV box mod would suit me well, I'd just want to make sure the batteries can last 5+ hours of medium to heavy vaping (everyone asks to try it!)

Ye, i was thinking the same thing, a ProVari in your jeans pocket sounds tight. Good to hear its worth not using something else tho :)

The mini in my jeans pocket is just fine, it doesn't protrude at all. I've been carrying it with me, I have no desire to use anything else any more. :p I haven't really taken it out on the town, but it's really doesn't take up much more space than the e-power I used before, it's heavier, but shorter overall and pretty compact.

I can understand that sort of "self conscious" feeling about just whipping it out and and using it in public. Honestly it's a feeling I am just now getting past. But I take mine everywhere. I would say 95% of comments that are made about it are really positive or inquisitive. I am seeing it as a conversation starter now. The newness has worn off and I enjoy using it. I don't really go out on the town anymore but I would use the fact that you are doing something different to your advantage. Confidence is key.

My major problem is that NOBODY VAPES HERE. I mean nobody. I've never seen another person vaping in my area. I feel self-conscious just sitting in traffic with my windows down vaping my Provari, as I've seen more than one person staring.

Same here in Seattle, other than my converts at work.. I've never seen another vapor. They must be out there!!

I know what you guys mean. I don't see strangers using them either. I do know a handful of people who were doing it before me though. But it's funny, I get it a few times a week - "I have a friend/relative/co-worker who uses an e-cig...." and the conversation usually lasts at least for a few minutes or so. I have no idea if anyone has actually pursued it past that conversation or if they just wanted a reason to talk but it does make it very easy for a conversation to start. 100% of the time though it is someone I have never met before(both guys and girls, I am not saying it's a chick magnet or anything and I am happily married). I would have to think that if you are out looking for a member of the "fairer sex" and they are interested, should make for a very easy ice breaker. Just sayin'. :)

Ha, yeah I've never seen anyone in my area vaping either, and can identify with feeling a little self conscious whipping out the Provari in public, but I'm a fairly shy person to begin with. I don't really vape in bars/stores/restaurants, but I don't feel too weird vaping in the car or at friend's houses. I'm sure as time goes on I'll be less self conscious about it, I just feel like people around here would see the "smoke" and assume that it's something less...legal, since not many people really seem to be aware of e-cigs in general. If people took a second to ask or investigate, it would be obvious that it's nothing "sinister" (lol), but I can see where incorrect assumptions could be made at first glance (people always seem to assume the worst) and I guess that's part of why I'm fairly discrete about it.

On a brighter note, I definitely do enjoy vaping with friends as most of them are curious about it and supportive of it as an alternative to smoking. I've noticed that one of my best friends, who is still a smoker, now rarely smokes when we're hanging out as he enjoys using the Provari! He's always asking to see my "wand of justice" and I'm certainly happy to oblige, since hopefully, if he wants to, he could reduce/quit tobacco with the help of vaping.

I'm afraid that a cop will see and take my stuff for testing :p other than that I could care less what other people think, but seems there is alot of people buying and using the gas station e-cigs and how many of those people will fail because of lack of knowledge that there actually products out there that are much more cost effective, and good flavors, etc....
and the lack of knowledge and just being generally scared of the whole wide realm of stuff and nobody to ask for more knowledge, so I look at myself as a possible avenue to help these people off the stinkies and onto the world of vaping with my limited amount of what I've come to know.

^^^^I figured I would face the fear of police questioning right away. Because that was also a concern for me. I didn't know how it would be received in general. A good friend of mine is a nightshift manager at a gas station. Also a Police sub station. Since I work nights and he smokes, I thought I may as well go up there after work and show the ProVari off to him and if an Officer or 2 were in there - so be it. It would give me an opportunity to at least educate them on the equipment as well. Since I go in there a few times a week anyway, they are all familiar with me a little and we shoot the breeze. Turned out there were 3 cops in there when I walked in and I just went right into "Salesman" mode. Going over the features and talking about how the tank works, what flavor I was using and nicotine strength. It didn't take long before they were over chatting with us about it. I let them hold it and look it over. I demonstrated using it so there was no question. I even went as far as to blow the vapor in the general direction of one of the officers(not in his face, just out in front of him) and he complimented the scent of it. They seemed generally impressed by the tech of it.

I know this isn't going to help you in a traffic stop but it did go a long way in initially building me up some confidence. ProVape and a few others have a very nice business card that has a good run down printed on the back. I try to always keep one in my wallet to present should such a misfortune happen. I think that would go a long way in your favor. Worst case - you could always pull up their site on your phone I guess.

These inputs are my concern exacly. I know i wont be doing anything illegal, but dont want to sit a night at the police station being "questioned" about my "...." use in public. Or that people see me driving and using my device thinking its a completly different thing. Think i will take your advice cmattb25 and keep a folder or something from ProVape in my car and wallet.
