Just a curiosity question. I'm nestled on the couch in the throes of some icky virus, tastebuds off and chain-vaping some Halo Kringle's Curse. I'm imagining it will clear my sinuses and put me at peace. I just really got into my Heather's NETs and I can't taste them like I did a few days ago. It's a bit of a bummer. Good thing is, I'm not hacking up a lung at this point, so +1 for vaping as opposed to smoking! I haven't had so much as a cold since I quit a month ago, and I'm looking forward to seeing the benefits of not putting all that toxicity into my system during flu season...but feeling so delirious I may even consider a cough drop flavored vape at this point ;)

It's too bad they don't make Hall's Menthol Vapetus. :)

It's weird, but I've only had one minor cold since I started vaping. Normally I'd be on my fourth minor something, usually with an extended period of feeling not so hot. It's too little data to draw a conclusion, though.

During that cold, I went heavy menthol with peppermint added (I DIY so that's easy even doing it by the tank). It seemed to help my sinuses a little bit, and it was something I could actually taste. Everybody who smelled it said it was an extremely strong mint scent.

I'm thinking that with all the viruses in circulation right now (and considering I work with sick people all the time) that I was bound to pick up something. Interestingly enough, I used to get sinus infections almost every other month when I was smoking, and I haven't felt the least bit sick until now. I have four children (whom I affectionately refer to as germ factories) and it was inevitable that I was going to get something, despite my OCD handwashing tendencies and even airborne precautions at the hospital. I'm going to fill a few clearos up with mentholated goodness and keep refilling the water bottle. Thanks for the well-wishes! And I'm kind of giggling at myself that I have disliked every cherry flavor to date for their cough syrupy flavor, and now I'm scouring the cabinet for the worst of the bunch!

Whatever is sitting on the back of the shelf. Can't taste it anyways, why not burn it up and save the good stuff for when I can taste it !
Seriously, when my sinus allergies act up (and they do) I just start into a strong mint flavor, like HHV BladeRunner.
This is actually a rather good idea.

There was a thread on here not to long ago about vaping menthol or cooling flavors while they where sick ,sore throat ,ETC . That made allot of sense. Get your self a nice Cherry menthol just like a halls cough drop . I know the flu has got allot of people down right now.
Hope you feel better.

I haven't been sick yet while vaping, but I was also thinking of a cherry menthol, peppermint, or maybe even honey. Thnkin' home remedies here.

My throat isn't horrible, thankfully. That I even want to vape makes me believe that death is not imminent, though the fever and the headache say otherwise. If I keep my head still it's almost bearable. That and reading about cough drop vapes! After a few days of this I don't know if I will look at a menthol the same way again!
