What does it mean when you press the button on your auto battery and...

The LED flashes a few times?


This is a week old auto XL battery that has only seen 1 cart. Maybe 15 puffs total. I left it on the AC charger all last night. Today I saw the charger light was green, I took it off and put back on the cart and took a vape. An hour or so later I went to vape again and when I pushed the button, the LED blinked 4 times.

I am sure you mean a manual battery..since you are pushing the button...

if it is blinking and you are taking a big drag .. the possibility is that you are sucking too hard. Edit: I think I might be confusing this with the actual auto batteries

if it blinks right when you press the button... it should mean that you need to charge it.

you said the charger is green.. do you remember if the battery blinked when you first inserted into charger? if not the battery isn't in the charger properly

if so.. and it still blinked then you might have a bum battery....

these are just my educated guesses.. but just incase it is based on old info.. someone else might add or correct any statements made

one more question.. do you have another battery that you charged on that same charger.. and does it end up having the same problem?

the older manuals have a 5 sec automatic cut off (it's 13 sec for the newer ones i think) - so if you drag too long the LED will blink and the battery turns off. it's a good thing if you carry them in your pocket like i do

Wait, lightgeoduck... ALL of my batt LEDS, auto and manual, blink when I put them into the (wall) charger, before the charger goes red or green. Three or 4 times, depending on the batt. (I dunno about the USB charger as I never use it.)
They always have and always do, as soon as the connection is made. I have over 25 working batts. Nothing wrong with them or with insertion... all charge fine.

And they blink only when they need charging. Just experimented with three and none of them blink when I draw hard.

Actually thinking back.. I believe I was confusing the auto batteries with drawing too hard ..and the battery blinking... thanks for the correction
