What Does PM mean?....

What does the abbreviation PM mean. I have seen it on some websites. It says, "PM me". Does anyone know of a great long list of abbreviations? I have looked but haven't found it yet. I put it in the search, but doesn't come up with an actual list of abbreviations. If there isn't, then someone needs to come up with a list for us newbies.
