I am currently using an MVP 2 with and igo w.
I cant wrap any more coils than one for the life of me, they just don't heat up fast enough. I coil at 1.0ohm heats up fast. But 2 coils at 1 ohm take about 2 seconds to barely even glow red same for three coils.

Do different gauge kanthal heat up faster? I am using 30ga would 34 heat up faster?. The whole reason I bought a igo was to get more flavor and vapor production. I am recently drilled the air holes out which did significantly increased vapor production.

So is there any reason my MVP 2 won't power two coils?

I was led to undertsand .8 is the low limit on the MVP. I have a .9 ohm coil that works like mad on the MVP, I wont replicater it, because the vape is too hot for my taste, but Ill enjoy it for now.

To the original question I cannot answer, never tried that with an RDA, but dual coil clearomizers work just fine - although i usually run about 9 watts instead of 8 when it dual coiled, seems about right.
