Kanthal wire & Silica Wick Education

I am trying to rebuil my Smoktech rda after finding the silica wick started to black out and the Wicks starts to fall out. I bought some kanthal wire (so call by the seller) and Silica Wick. i found that after trying to coil it, trying to fire the coil and found the coil needs up to 5 volts to get the even glow. Is there any way to find the actual kanthal wire ohm? What does 32AWG - the AWG stands?

Please share any information or knowledge read up on whether the bigger the number on the Kanthal Wire means faster it will heat up?

When wrapping coils, the more times you wrap it the resistance gets greater. AWG is the gauge of wire (thickness) The Higher the number/gauge/awg on the wire, the thinner the wire thus heating up faster.
