Yeah I agree. When I started the thread I said nothing but good things about the juice, of course not knowing about the titanium dioxide. I never said one nothing extremely negative throughout that thread as well. I'm glad the word got out and fellow vapers have the choice to still vape it or stop damaging their lungs and or other organs.

That's fine but I see threads on here that have way more pages than mine did that aren't locked. It shouldn't be locked. People will always agree or disagree. Some vapers may not have a Facebook or a Instagram. Maybe a new thread should be started, like a " Caution " thread. But I know just because my thread had 25 pages that that was the reason it was locked.

I'm pretty sure the lock number is 15k posts

I like the caution thread Idea

The last post by the moderator is supposed to be the "reason" it was closed.

I don't agree with it personally, but then it's not my forum to run.

I happen to be an admin on a very large ball python related forum, and our members don't always agree with our decisions either, but in the end, a forum is not a democracy, and it's up to the staff to determine how they choose to run and administer the forum.

With a membership as large as ECF, they can never make everyone happy, and it's often a thankless job. Each staff member is only human has their own reasons, usually discussed behind the scenes with other staff members before broad decisions like closing a thread are made (if it's managed anything like my forum is run).

While I feel that in the events of Unicorn Blood that it's very likely that there's reason for concern, in the end, there is no CONCRETE proof of anything for either side of the argument, so the closing statement was that everyone is responsible for coming to their own conclusion - ECF wasn't going to take a stand on either side.

At least that's my take on it.

Either way, this topic is EVERYWHERE including all over facebook.

All over Facebook but swept under the carpet on ECF. I saw some stuff about it on Facebook and came to ECF to read more about it. Was really disturbed that I had to dig up the locked thread to get the details.

EDIT: Actually, I couldn't even get the details from the locked thread because the mods deleted the posts. Had to follow a link outside ECF to finally read what the issue was!

I know. It being locked is bizarre. And after I contacted the lab in Maryland about this and sent a pic of the pasty goo on the bottom of my bottle, the scientist(A. Gapeev) emailed an unofficial determination that it's TiO2 and stated that he cannot understand why on earth anyone would add that to an ejuice as it's harmful when inhaled. He stated what else we all said yesterday...that it's harmless when ingested or handled-but not a good thing when inhaled. Apparently some here want to put the lid on this thing and help in covering up for Cuttwood. So be it. As I said before-we are on our own here. We need to inform ourselves because well...that's all I'm saying and I'm sure you all know why I stopped there. Peace.

Cuttwood posted a new picture on Instagram an hour ago still covering up everything. Still no statement released. This is a slap in the face to everyone who brought this juice and to all the vendors that carried it. Notice I used past tense on " carried " because they no longer sell the pink juice. Now some may carry the new " clean " juice but I think Cuttwood burned a lot of bridges.

No one is covering up anything, that's just ridiculous. The forum manager explained everything in the last post.

Discussing forum moderation is against the rules, so now this thread is locked. Any more, and further action will be taken.
