What happened to True Smoker?

JD's been a supplier on this forum for at least as long as I've been here. I was looking for his sub forum here yesterday and it's gone. What Happened?

He is but he hasn't posted in a while and the TrueSmoker forum is not on the list any more.

Sounds like those things indicate he either withdrew from here or something else happened. I thought he was a respected supplier...wonder what happened.....

I saw a post from either Elendil or AngusATAT in the True Smoker forum a while ago about contacting an Admin immediately. Maybe dues weren't paid?

Funny thing is that today I got an email from Truesmoker. Haven't had an update from them in months. It was announcement of a sale on DK Tab, the one flavor I hate most of all

Where did you read that? I don't see why that should be a reason if they paid their dues.
And I got the same DK tab email. I actually kinda liked that flavor.

I don't think that is the reason because there is a northwest one that has almost no activity and it is still around or was last time I looked. I am guessing that JD maybe decided not to pay dues this time around.
